Ur wrong on one point.... This is actually a canonical movie (means that it's not part of the anime but by viewers choice can be put as not a filler) reason y is because shiki was one of Rogers crew mates and Roger is a character in the actual story... Plus if you look at the other movies the plots have no connection to any side points of the actual story. That is why this is the best movie yet

@GNTex3fan Can I clear a few things? Okey, first Shiki wasn't a part of Roger's crew. He was a pirate captain of his own who have been through several skirmish against Roger before. So, again he was never one of Roger's crewmate.

About how this is canon movie. It is mainly because Oda, the manga creator, wrote it himself. He did even stated that it was canonical for both the anime and manga.
