Ugh...I wish these little kids would stop screaming and sing normally. She has talent but, she is trying to sing like she is 10 years older. I don't call that a prodigy. I call that a mimic. She is going to absolutely ruin her voice in later years. Unfortunately, we are going to hear more and more of this in the American Idol generation. Excellent voice. It would be a better performance if she had a better understanding of the meaning of the words she's singing. Unfortunately she's more interested the diva persona than the song itself. With a lot of our men & women in the military facing day to day battle, it would be nice to see a child sing the song and knows the importance of it.

She's got good vocal chords that could be developed, and she COULD turn out to be quite a singer if given the proper training. But it's a little bit of a crap shoot if her voice decides to take a turn south when it changes. There are VERY FEW ACTUAL talented vocalists in the world, despite what pop media tells you. The last couple of generations are practically tone deaf.

Well yeah, she's only 10 and did well, but have seen other kids her age do far better. However the amount of MAKEUP she had on was just WAY WAY too much, as was the hairdo. I watch a lot of kids videos singing because I find it astounding at such a young age they have such talent.
