Seems funny to see an advert or a picture of someone smoking these days since it's been banned worldwide, Shenmue is probably one of the few games you actually see people openly smoke in.
You'll rarely see it anywhere else, not on TV much either, it will still be in a lot of 80's stuff though, which suits Shenmue well as it's got an 80's setting in it's series.
It was taken out of the Western versions of the game, but if you went to visit him in Warehouse No. 8 in the Japanese version of the game, he was smoking!

Loved the entire exchange between the Ryo and Gui Zhang in the scene where this music plays,really stuck with me.
