  • where can i find the music!?!?!?!?! its my favorite

  • @allmusicallthetime63 I have it, it's called the A Postcard to Henry Purcell, yet it belongs to Henry Purcell's Abdelazer o The Moor's Revenge which is in fact a suite. The rondeau (that is whay you may listen while they are dancing) is what they are playing, they just changed a few notes.

  • i don't get it, what did he say that offended her about "clarity"?

  • Prefer the BBC version. This is so modern its disapointing

  • is the dance the Jenny's market?

  • Does anyone know how to do the hairstyle that Kiera has? I WOULD LOVE TO WEAR THIS FOR A FORMAL EVENT!!! Message me on youtube. Thanks!

    -Kaite

  • quel est le nom de cette musique ?

  • @mehisOI A Postcard to Henry Purcell by Jean-Yves Thibaude from the Pride and Prejudice Soundtrack.

  • Me encanta cuando bailan ellos dos solos sin nadie a su alrededor... Es mi escena favorita

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG CALLED??! Aaaah!

  • @StarLight162:43 A Postcard to Henry Purcell by Jean-Yves Thibaudet from the Pride and Prejudice Soundtrack.

  • As well as watching Lizzie and Darcy in this scene, I love watching Jane and Bingley dance in the background. It's so cute seeing Bingley stare in adoration at Jane and Jane being shy and smiley! It's a perfect contrast to Lizzie and Darcy, who are at each other's throats the whole time! :D I love this film, and the book! <3

  • Great actors, but I think anyone who's read the book will find this film is far too modern and corny. The films good in itself, but it cant be compared to the book. I mean did anyone else find it terrible when Lizzy talks about how Mr Collins will inherit the estate rather than down to "poor females"? The real miss Bennet was clever and sparky to men, but she still lived in the era, and knew and accepted her role would be to take care of the household and have children

  • What is this called?

  • Amo estos tipos de baile!!!!! Lastima que ya no se acostumbre a bailar asi.

  • Esta melodia es la mas linda de todas!! Me encantaaa!!

  • i love how at the end all the other dancers seem to disappear

  • Lol this dance makes me laugh so hard

But I`m still in love with Mr Darcy<3I want him

  • Qu'est-ce qu'ils sont bavards ! Et comme ils s'arrangent pour que leur conversation, d'ordre assez intime, soit entendue par tous les autres danseurs !... Quite ridiculous !...

  • It's also called, "The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, Op. 34," by Benjimin Britten

  • I want to learn this dance!! It is so beautiful-.-

    where can I learn it?

  • What is the name of the song playing?

  • @keiralovec "Abdelazer: Rondeau", by Henry Purcell

  • @keiralovec the name of this song is A Postcard To Henry Purcell

  • Hated this adaptation. I've never liked KN, but here it is MM who is my real problem. He looks ridiculous in period costume, he should have lost at least 10 pounds and his hair Louisa! The dialogue, so trite with very little Austen in it, their delivery is rushed, forced & rehearsed. I met the screenwriter of this movie, she wouldn't admit that she deviated from the novel & I hated her take on the clothes and the houses. All Regency clothes were handmade not just the Bennets, who seem too poor.

  • i love how they always use the same dance <3

  • Omg COLIN FIRTH and Jennifer Ehle are wayyyyyyyy better i can not bear to watch anymore :|

  • what a great actor is mm, after playing mr darcy he could go to hollywood and play in shitty moovies with jennifer aniston or cameron diaz and make good money, but he prefer to become ugly beared and unagreable like the sheriff of nothinham

  • maybe is not so loyal to the book because of the lenght of 2 hour but it is fresh and natural.

  • if you read the book darcy says that he doesnt make friends easily, this is why they made this darcy shy, not just unagreable, i also liked this movie cause people looks very natural, you dont expect them to look like a portrait of those times, remember that they use their best outfit to be painted, and it shows the people how they looks at home, with handcrafted dresses.

  • @cristinawilligs I agree with you, in this movie people looks natural and not "dummy fashion" as you may see in many films, I don't think that people used to wear awesome gowns and hairstyle at home.

  • The only fault I find with this Darcy is that he isn't... commanding enough? He is quite cute, although I like Colin Firth better. Firth's just got that.. arrogant air about him, while I feel Macfadyen is just... a bit too... shy for my tastes.

  • what is the name of the song?

  • @keiralovec hole in the wall by Purcell

  • i can't stop watching this xD

  • she's not waring gloves? wth

    not historically accurate

i think or am i wrong?

  • @34RiverStone You can see that one of the other background dancers was not wearing gloves either.

Personally, I think the director did this on purpose for Elizabeth, I think he intends on making her a kind of rule breaker of society. You can see that in most of the movie all of her sisters wear bonnets, and the only time she wears a bonnet is the time Mr. Darcy first proposed to her.

  • @cheeelsey oh that makes sense

  • Soooo much tension. :]

  • i got dizzy watching they dance.. @_@ what do u call this type of dance? im pretty sure its not waltz :P eheheh.. ^_^"

  • my fav scene in this movie!!!

    ^_^

  • Since I saw Matthew in Little Dorrit, I learnt to appreciate him beter for being Darcy now. Even though I love this version, I do prefer the 1995 BBC one ;)

  • Mr Darcy ---> THE BEST! <3

  • I love this scene, but...

    "And what have you discovered?"

    "Poco."

    HAHAHAHAHA.

    me mata cuando dice

    "-Adoro este baile.

    -Si, es vigorizante."

y era rre lenta la cancioon xD

  • Does anyone know the name of the song they dance to??

  • @TwilightLuvvverxxx A Postcard to Henry Purcell

Everything is so beautiful and, ooh wauw, they're funny and Mr. Darcy is pretty handsome =$ And I love the hair of Lizzie too! <3

  • Comment removed

  • They're not pearls. In the scene prior to the ball, you see her toying with a white feather; she obviously tore off bits of it and arranged them in her hair.

  • I never noticed that before! It kind of makes it seem so much less elegant now. lol. But I honestly never would have noticed.

  • beautiful moviee!

  • Comment removed

  • I treated my man like shit in the beginning too. I guess, guys still fall for it today. LOL. But those two do belong to each other. Good job actors, well done.

  • Mr. Darcy bites his lip when he asks elizabeth if she often walks to meryton. hahahaha he must be pretty eager to see her ;)

  • i loooovvveeeee himmmmmm!!!!!

  • Que bello Sr. Darcy

  • "it is most invigorating"

    LOL

  • i love this movie so much. i cant stop thinking about it. and i must say the end, when they dancing alone is so sweet:) they feel as if they are the only two people in the room:)

  • Darcy: Do you talk as a rule while dancing?

Elizabeth: No. No, I prefer to be unsociable and taciturn ...

    XD

  • "Indeed, most invigorating" lol One of the best lines in the movie.... Aside from the unfaltering "You have bewitched me, body and soul."

  • BEST SCENE EVER.

  • the way the guy nodded his head to greet was funny. unlike this part, the dance in bbc is like shit.

  • this dance is perfect.just cut the video a little more neatly( it should begin right when they stand preparing for the dance)

  • whats the song called?
