i dont like how there are metal or plastic pipes on most springs if i go to that extent to drink fresh spring water i would not use plastic bottles and i d rather not have the water pass through plastic or metal
Headlamps are good for the quickly darkening Northern regions, where we chip the ice to get our water and haul it by dogsled. LOL. Actually there are still folks living in the bush that do that. Fresh, clean water is worth it.
That's where I get my Spring water! I was also the one who took the TDS reading of 12. I checked that spring a few times, and another nearby spring, and they both read 12. Compare that to the tap liquid in downtown frederick, of 290+.
Man, I can't believe I missed you guys. I was considering filling up on friday but was running behind schedule, didn't go out there. Also, I didn't see anything on your events page that said you'd be in MD or DC, just VA Beach. Did I miss something?
it appears that measuring the TDS of the water affects the lighting surrounding the pipe (it was 1pm on a sunny day when this was filmed). notice that once Matt started his measuring, all of the light began to disappear. the gods, like children, do not like their temperatures taken. I can't wait until tomorrow to see if Angela and Matt made it out of there alive . . .
I learned the difference from listening to Daniel Vitalis (you can search for his name on YouTube and you'll get lots of videos popping up that tell you loads of cool, paradigm-shifting stuff about water).
Spring water in the sense Matt and Angela talk about it comes from an aquifer, which like an underground lake. It's generally highly pure, and considered by many to be the best water available.
Then there's artisian well water, which is a hole that's manuaully drilled through bedrock into an aquifer.
Finally, there's "dug well" water, which is water that comes from water that sits on top of the bedrock within the ground (acquifers are underneath the bedrock). Dug well water can be polluted.
nice videos, been drinking spring water recently but when i do i cant sleep and feel hung over in the morning. Detox?

A water fountain out in the woods...cool! Just goes to show how God takes care of His Creation. :-)

@irishpride527 That's true. There is a spring that's just like that in my area.
