Yes thats very nice. when I arrive at the airport we took the train to Pudong (last stop). It was also a bullet train. In the passenger car they show the speed and as I remember we were traveling at 200 KM/HR. Very fast and very smooth.

It was in 2006 and today (11/23/2010) you can ride the super fast train from Shanghai to Hangzhou in 45 mins instead of almost 2hrs.
