You 3-4 guys talking about America's economy and how we live are ignorant. I haven't met one guy who gives up hope in his life because "We have a shit-load in debt." No average guy gives a care in the world about the economy, sure, if we weren't in debt we would make more money, but a lot of people I know get by just fine. Most other Americans would say the same. They actually can learn a broad range of topics. However i don't think that's what the problem is i think the method of learning/teaching, alot of what is "learned" is basically just told to you and the tests is just information regurgitation, you aren't taught to think.

@qyxzz Actually that's not true, i've observed the specialty thing is mostly Europe. In the US it's more Liberal Arts & Sciences and study various things which they choose. They actually can learn a broad range of topics. However i don't think that's what the problem is i think the method of learning/teaching, alot of what is "learned" is basically just told to you and the tests is just information regurgitation, you aren't taught to think.
