  • Awesome bike. I liked the seating position and easily removable wheels. I would suggest two things though:

    1. I would have liked to have seen a rear brake.

    2. I would have liked to have seen an adjustable seat (maybe it already is?) and possibly a backrest for it since the seating position is one in which that would work well.

    great job.

  • Well done! I hope you continue with this idea. How is the gear range working out for you? It looks fairly heavy, so I imagine going uphill might be a challenge, although this would be ameliorated by the seating position and forward pedal angle.

  • looks like modded front hubs that have 20mm axles. makes sense to make both wheels the same and easily removable.

  • where can i get hubs like them from

  • That is very cool indeed - good job!

  • Turned out really well. We had to modify some spacers in the rear axle, but otherwise it held up quite well upon completion. In general our tolerances were too tight all around for the components. It was a pretty thrilling process in both good and bad ways. It's amazingly comfortable to ride. I might even be able to get my grandma on it. Maybe not.

  • cool bike - it the back wheel gear driven?

much easier to change tubes too. wow it is great !

  • Thanks! Yes, the rear wheel is gear driven - the chain drives an axle which attaches to the rear wheel from the side.

  • great bike guys!

    how has it turned out.

  • What's the song title on this? It sounds like Franz Ferdinand, but I can't nail down which song of theirs it is.

  • its called bite hard
