Like when Margaret Chan Fung Fu-chun made the public statement: "I ate chicken last night, I eat chicken every day" while hundreds of people died from bird flu. She was also promoting the forced ACDC vaccination project.
She got one of those blue passports that make her above the law everywhere!
You must have missed the wedding in 1999, big pharma+WHO: "Tobacco dependence is in every sense of the word a disease..." "...Together, we can defeat this disease." who.int/inf-pr-1999/en/pr99-04.html
I remember years ago when the WHO published a report detailing the results of their long investigation into passive smoke risk and they had to admit there was no correlation.
The Telegraph at the time published a cartoon on that very matter - on the same page. In the sketch, two men were at a bar. The one who was smoking held up that news headline to the disapproving anti-smoker so he could see it and said "Is this article offending you?"
@jredheadgirl Hi Jred - I tried looking for the article among the archives on the net but no luck unfortunately.
However the mainstream media tends to backtrack on this issue these days. I saw Penn and Teller retract their 'Bullshit Second Hand Smoke' piece in an interview after a horrible little nanny state do-gooder bully gave them a hard time in a Q&A session for not taking on board the 'studies' he'd sent them which 'legitimised' the bigotry and hatred of the typical petty anti-smoker.
When I was up country in Pondercherry in '23 we used to smoke those vile little Indian cheroots, as a matter of fact the district commissionar used to insist on it, an old indian chappie used to roll them up, two annas a piece, still it was better than being laid low with the Ague,I rememcer Simkins junior refused to smoke them on grounds of heath, said he didnt like the smell, insolent little tick, swamp fever got him in the end, here I am, still alive at 94, those damn biddies saved my life.
@garryentropy Remember it well and a spiffing time was had by all. Apart from Simpkins of course. What an odious little man he was. Oh well, more G&T for the rest of us ;-)
Its a pity my production values consist of me kneeling on the floor because my green screen isn't big enough to stand up in front of. I have a bigger one, but no room to use it. I bet the BBC doesn't have that problem thanks to all the money they steal from us in licence fees :-(

Smoking cessation products?
I would never try!
Take example Chantex?
The side effects are: Depression & suicidal thoughts & actions?
Thats it the anti's private concentration camp in a box!
Stop smokers from smoking by creating a drug so they will commit suicide? Then we don't have no worries what to do w/the bodies!
Nazi idealism in the millinium!

Loved the video,
But in the middle of the Amazon Jungle?
I believe will be the last place they will make a smoking ban!
Unless we pay off a few monkeys w/some bananas? :)

I guess I did miss that wedding? I was to involved w/the end of the world & Y2K?
Even though nothing happened on New Year's eve night at the stroke of midnight?
I guess it was the beginning of the end for us smoker's?
(How could we let this happen?) :P

I think I'd would have been happier if the world came to an end then living without our freedom rights! (personal note!)
