ABOUT TIME! someone playing music thats to this time and age, so sick of speakers being judged on sound quality when they play jazz or guitar music from the dark ages, speakers should be made to punch nice solid bass too and handle even the slightest digital scratch of sound. This should show the new age speaker in my mind.

@reenman27 Thanks :) Well, I agree that it shouldn't all be bells and whistles, and that a speaker should be able to pack a good, powerful punch:) But it's difficult to say that they should only do it like that. It's not often you encounter a speaker that excels with both bad recordings and good ones and the "new age" music is not always very good sounding in terms of recording quality:) So a sound and good mix of new and old? :)

Why do we bother looking at a video trying to hear what the speakers really sound like due to less impressive environmental acoustics, the poor recording, digital compression and your own amp and speakers. :(

Do you really think this video was meant to display the sonic properties of the speakers? :D It's just a situational peep-hole - a representation of good times with a nice setup, from a time where the Series Diamond was very new and mostly unseen by a lot of people who wanted to see the speakers - like so much else on Youtube :)

Alt lige fra hardstyle til klassik. Men de bliver mest brugt til film. Mest action film. Jeg tænkte mest på Nad da de laver nogle gode recivers, men pris mæsigt tror jeg ikke at de kan leve op til højtalerne.

@Andreas2789 Når du skriver receiver, så tænker jeg at du er ude i surround? NAD Master lyder rigtig godt... Ellers lyder en T785HD også virkelig godt til under halv pris af Master serien. Den vil sagtens kunne trække dine højtalere. Lyden hos NAD er generelt varmere end Classé hvilket gør at den ikke bliver lige så skarp ved høje lyd-niveauer. Men Classé er bare bedre i forhold til signal-behandlingen (konverteringen) af lyden, hvilket giver mere punch, detalje-rigdom, klarhed i lyden, osv.

@Andreas2789 (fortsat) Og Classé lyder godt på Diamond serien, selvom den har en tendens til at blive en anelse kold og kynisk. Der er dér smagen kommer ind. Dog kan man kable sig fra det meste. Så; Classé har mere strøm, mere kontrol og bedre konvertering og behandling. Det koster til gengæld en bondegård så man skal være sikker på at det er dét man vil have. Men det er fedt, uden tvivl. NAD er ikke på niveau, men er bedre til prisen. Hvis man kun er til Stereo, så er en M2 ret voldsomt god!

@Jonziebal et af de bedste svar jeg længe har fået. :) tror jeg vil kigge lidt nærmere på Classé. Men er der mulighed for at få surround fra Classé forstærkere og andet.

@theHIFIfan Absolut. Og de er skræmmende dygtige til det. Modsat eks. Denon sender Classe sjældent nye surround produkter ud. Til gengæld holder de værdi måske 10-15 gange bedre. - Det koster bare knapper. Deres forforstærker SSP800 og en 5 kanals effekt med 200W; CA5200 (som nok er hvad du burde overveje), kommer til sammen til at sætte dig ca. 125.000 tilbage. Men så er det også high-high end stereo og reference surround.

@theHIFIfan (fortsat) Og derudover, tak for de pæne ord :) Og en CA5100 vil også kunne gøre jobbet uden slinger i valsen. Men i min verden er der ikke så stor forskel i pris på 5100 og 5200 når man alligevel er deroppe. Og selvom de nye diamanter lyder ganske glimrende på "mindre" forstærkere, så elsker B&W bare strøm :) - I top er der naturligvis mono-blokken CAM600 ;D Så mangler du aldrig mere strøm. Aldrig :D (den skal dog lige kunne leveres, da de er arving til CAM400, men den tid den sorg:D
