Life is fun. I was not a Tour Daddie, but I love my Brothers from Delta "Frat
81"
I did sneak in a tour, for my cell-mate. He had a hot one from College of Charleston.. I covered for him. Hell we had the rings. What? So what I walked for a brother.Hampton park. PT, uniform. You all get the idea.
He is selling real estate in I guess Charleston, And I did 30 years as an Army Ranger. Done as A 0-6, Alpha-11
Great video! Brings back memories... ; ) Some of my classmates and I were discussing the recent email from CAA the other day about LTG Rosa granting Amnesty. I never remember that happening (80-84), just an extra hour or two of leave and maybe an overnight here or there. I walked 140 total, 120 of which were awarded for an incident when I wasn't even technically required to be in barracks...
you call yourself a tour daddy after 40 tours? I made the century mark and about 100 more. Lost track after 120. to the people who said those were lax tours, weekends when no tac's were around you could get away with a little more depending who was bdo. the tour itself is bad enough, but the real punishment is being stuck with no leave. My worse stretch left me on campus for 3 months. 3 months without seeing the outside world at that school is hell.
@TheSethDavis Same here I've spent most of my college career stuck on that campus. I made it about a month after amnesty before ending up back marching on the quad. Thank god for X-mas break or I would still be marching right now.
Gentlemen, Well done. As a proud Century Club (305) many of them right there in PT, it warms my heart to see that tour walking hasn't change even if the the system has over the years. Kemo (Hotel & Delta, 89)
That's a penatly tour for the citadel? I wish we had that here (at vmi). Just hours of marching at right shoulder, no messing around or anything like that. I had a question though. Do you guys play checkers with the Knobs on your checkered barracks courtyard? I'm sure it's been done before...
