The big question is, what did the mouse die from? If it died of Decon (rat poisoning) then that could cause the baby big problems. Not only that, mice carry diseases, so I can see why you are getting bent out of shape, ELawshea. Mice, wild mice specifically, are a health hazard and something the health dept will probably get onto the daycare for it.

The hospital probably did blood test. That tells you nothing. If the mouse had a virus or staph bacteria you won't find out until later. She could have also contracted bacteria that can settle in the comes and cause dental problems much later in life or infect the blood stream or bone later in life. Mice carry nasty germs on their feet and giardia in their intestines.
