Muhammad, if you were just to go through the background of most of his "teachings," subtly - if not unabashedly - distorted moral norms in order to justify most of his actions, including murder and pedophilia. And, may I mention, Quranic texts went through the same process as the Jerusalem and Christian Bibles before it came to its present form.

What could be the deeper meaning of eliminating those great animals ? They are the best friends to man, they are really helpful and essential for many culture.
And they can recognize angel and evil spirit, so I think that Muhammad asked to eliminate them because they recognize that he was possessed by the devil.
The prophet Mohamed said that a man entered the Paradise for giving water to a thirsty dog, and that a woman enterd the Hell for puting a cat into a cage and depriving her from food and water untill it died..If what you say is true, may be it was for iliminating a disease caused by dogs. Arent they actually killing cows and pigs for fear of disease?
