Yrs ago Resident Evil Code Veronica came along with a demo to Devil May Cry. It's not a new practice and doesn't bother me all that much. As long as we eventually get a demo, I'm good waiting.
I was hyped about Dragons Dogma way before this publicity stunt, as for why they didnt stick it with the other RE game, well DD is a completely new IP and capcom probably want to draw as much attention to it as possible, and no RE game needs such advertising.
Regardless, DD is a day 1 purchase for me as i love RPG's and i really like some of the new features they're introducing like the Pawn system.

-The demo is included in the game,you have to buy it to get it.
-So preordering it to get "the code" is not valid.
-If you buy Dragons Dogma are you really going to return it after you have opened it? No retail store will give you your full money back, gamestop might just give you $20-$35 back as store credit.
-And the point of this is to sell Dragons Dogma, they dont need the RE6 demo onRE operation racoon city.
Capcom rarely puts any effort into their games (ex: 20 RE games = 9 good ones). Most RE fans have a PS3 due to the fact tjat the RE's were on PS2 on most people stuck with it. Also the special edition of RE: Operation Raccoon City is a much better candidate for the DEMO because it's RE, it makes people buy the special edition for a good game, special edition is only $70.00, and Dragon's Dogma won't be too successful. Just a few thoughts I have to some of the people commenting here about the demo.
-The demo is included in the game,you have to buy it to get it.
-So preordering it to get "the code" is not valid.
-If you buy Dragons Dogma are you really going to return it after you have opened it? No retail store will give you your full money back, gamestop might just give you $20-$35 back as store credit.
-And the point of this is to sell Dragons Dogma, they dont need the RE6 demo onRE operation racoon city.

Capcom rarely puts any effort into their games (ex: 20 RE games = 9 good ones). Most RE fans have a PS3 due to the fact tjat the RE's were on PS2 on most people stuck with it. Also the special edition of RE: Operation Raccoon City is a much better candidate for the DEMO because it's RE, it makes people buy the special edition for a good game, special edition is only $70.00, and Dragon's Dogma won't be too successful. Plus many that ain't in warranty period have to spend out all over again x3 for some poor soul's.
