I have no idea what this 50/50 thing is, however in regards to the whole Beetles versus the BeeGees thing: both are supergroups from their time, however pretty different. I love the Beetles, but the BeeGees such "soul" in their recordings and live performances so if I had to make a choice I would say BeeGees>The Beetles.

It's funny. When I was around 13, I used to listen really crappy music and my parents always told me, one day, I will be listening to good music.

I asked them what "good music" is for them, and they told me something about Beatles, Bee Gees and so on.

After a while i started listening automatically to them and other groups and have to say well, my parents were right.
