The guy who provided Lucifer's voice was great. Made me love Satan all over again. The first couple of levels were pretty bad ass until Greed. Greed sucked. And the high-res cutscenes were so bad ass and detailed I can't believe they didn't put more of them in. And P.S. The Wayne Barlowe digital sketchbook was BULLSHIT! Total rip-off.

I found that the game's locations just felt more EPIC as I went along, not so much hellish. I thought that the first circle, Limbo, was actually the scariest part of the game, I mean, where I was actually genuinely shocked and freaked out.

I agree with Amaranth41. There aren't many things that are similar between Dante's Inferno and God of War. If there are any similarities, they exist because the Inferno creaters used the help of the GoW creaters. Dante's Inferno is its own game!

well actually, without ruining too much, from what ive played, there isnt one at the end of EVERY circle, just a few, such as lust (i wont go too far into all that though), and in some cases, like gluttony, the boss is near the start. ive just reached the 'violence' circle of hell btw

This game took alot of inspiration of depiction of hell from Anime TV series called Berserk. Even the art direction very similar to the Berserk comic book.

@phitox008 This has nothing to do with the Divine Comedy. . . . In the Divine Comedy Dante first visits Hell, where this game takes place. Hell is separated into 9 levels or rings, as found in this game, but that's where the similarities end. Dante is shown Hell by Virgil in the story. In the game: "Demons stole your woman, here's some titties, go kill some bitches."

alot of people compare this to God of War and really this Dante and Kratos have similer origins. The big diffrence is Dante leaps in to hell and fights the demons and devils while Kratos stays and fights the titan's and god's. (I only finished GoW one so I'm no expert but I think everyone should just sit back and enjoy both)

this is a great way to create attention for the piece of work Dante created. If people didn't recreate old original pieces of work they would become lost. so this is a good thing to keep Dante's visions. Grow up you stupid shit

youve got a good point there, but dont forget Kratos started off small, he was once a normal Spartan too, with some special abilities, then he just kicked Aries out and took the throne! and now in GOW 3 he's gonna FUCK UP ZEUS'S ASSS!!!! lets also not forget that Dante here is a Crusader and he committed all 10/9 sins, and now he's gotta kick Satans ass and save his girl, though Kratos has been through Hades too....
