  • I heard about adobe photo shop cs5, then I seen the price.. O__O So is this a good product, i am comparing anything with picnik.com they are closing down! :( I need a real opinion! Thanks!

  • @HudsonAndDillon Its the professional version, that's why its so expensive. Its worth the price, you can do so much more than elements. However, it is not user friendly. You think thats expensive, lol, you should se CS5 Master Collection. Its over $2000 on the best buy site! Now thats expensive. I recommend getting the software from the Offical Adobe site, much much more cheaper for the same software in retial stores.

  • A couple of questions. 1. Do I need to have an earlier edition to run Elements 10? And in the editor do you have the ability to add a photo filter and lighting effects? On amazon it is £35 I Don't want to buy this to find out I need an earlier version. Would appreciate it if some one could answer my questions :)

  • I need a program that will help me edit not only photos but also graphics--i don't need anything super powerful like Adobe Photoshop. Is this something that would work? Is the elements purchased from a box store the same as the App on a mac?

  • I want to paint, oil/water color stuff like...and put myself in pictures with the beatles..etc...what is the simplist program to do this? HELP

  • anyone have any opinons on this program for drawing?

  • how do you fix a tanline with this element 10

  • Looks identical to Elements 9.

  • @Videodrome06 Yes but PSE9 is sooooo "last year"... lol. On the surface it's even hard to tell the difference between CS5 and CS4, until you look under the hood (content-aware fill, puppet warp, refine edge, repousse etc).

  • what is the difference between photoshop, photoshop element, and adobe lightroom (or is it photoshop lightroom) ????

  • @rongthienco Photoshop is not just for editing photos, it can help with manipulating the photo geometrically, the other main feature is the ability to mask each effect very accurately onto your photo, Elements is a simplified version of photoshop. Lightroom lacks a lot of the masking and layers that are very useful in favor or a much quicker workflow and so is much more useful when it comes to working on loads of photos. it more like a darkroom, hence the name :)

  • @jebarwood ohok, thank you very much for answering :D

  • @rongthienco Lightroom is GREAT for managing and batch processing tens and hundreds of photos in just a few minutes. If you are not into image manipulation, you won't need Photoshop. But if you are a studio photographer, you definitely need Photoshop. If you are into wildlife and nature photography, you might not need Photoshop and Lightroom will be perfect for you. Elements is just simplified Photoshop. I use Lightroom and Photoshop and I cannot imagine one without the other one.

  • Guess you didnt notice the undo button on the upper right?

  • Elements has the same architecture as Photoshop but it doesnt process RAW so I'm graduating from Elements 8 to CS5.

  • @michaelchimera I used the Camera Raw plugin when I was on elements 7.0

Check the adobe website for the free camera raw plugin for elements 8. Worked great fro me, though aim now on CS5

  • @michaelchimera Elements 9 handled my RAW files out of the box

  • @michaelchimera Camera Raw is also available in Elements 6.

  • I guess this is a major step to undertand the pro sofware and do not spend it all for begining full digital basic post...thanks as ussual..regards...O

  • ju ło łaczin adołama tivi xD

  • Tell Mark to do the ADOBE PREMIERE ELEMENTS 10's review!

  • Nice review Mark, thank you, it looks like it's a mix of lightroom and photoshop, cheers

  • Hello Mark I find it difficult to follow with you the video that you make Please made a video on the technical words lick: spherical element chromatic aberration VR IS ............................. And so I can follow with you the videos Thank you so much
  • @marouanesentissi chromatic aberration is a purpley stuff that on the edges of high contrast areas like dark hair on a sky. VR and IS is so that you can shoot on a longer shutter speed and not be affected by camera shake. Spherical element are part of a lens hope this helped :)
