When a friend told me today that Oscar the Grouch no longer lives in a trashcan because it's not politically correct, my first thought was, "But what about TC?!" I always loved that trashcan of his with the TV antenna on top -- I think it's where I got my love of little spaces, like Winnebagos and Japanese capsule hotels. Damn the memories. I remember watching Cartoon Network from a very young age until age 10~ , it was by far the best cartoon channel for public TV (second in line used to be Fox Kids, if anyone remembers that channel aswell).

What I really liked about Cartoon Network was that it visually catered a very broad audience. Especially when they started airing Dragon Ball Z and Batman Beyond (or Batman of the Future if you will) I was hooked for life. Shame that National Geographic took their place....
