For about 5 yrs I played in a band with a bass player named Jeff Neer who was from one of Lester's earlier bands called 'Seven'. So, whenever Lester rolled into town (So Cal) with Pillar or whoever, he'd ask me to borrow the kit sometimes for gigs in Hollywood or for recordings. But I'm no longer jamm'n with Jeff as I moved to Iowa about a year ago. It's funny, I was see'n Lester do'n some crazy ol' fills/beats back when we was touring with Seven. He was like 15 then. He's always been dedicated.
