  • How will we know if you are tracking our pre-order, will you be sending response emails confirming our order?

  • @TheSlik76 yes, and i add your email to a list of pre-order buyers.

  • Oh you are alive! And with DVD:D Well next step hollywood???

  • I might just have to pick it up just to see that Dirz Clone full painted, looks great.

  • Yay, you're back?!

  • Im glad your making videos again. I decided not to start Warhammer 40k becuz my house got broken into and they took all my money.

  • SOOO COOL!

  • awesome stuff man, hope it sells good for you.

  • What does this DVD cover?

  • @shepharda74 The dvd contains: colour theory - colour combos, colour choices, warm vs cool, how to choose highlights and shades

Techniques: basecoating, layering, drybrushing, washing, glazing, Blending - feathering, wetblending, transparent layering(i.e juicing, glaze blending,)

and 4 step by step display quality miniatures, using the techniques in the dvd plus some other things to throw into your arsenal

  • Sounds cool for $20. Are the minis used easily accessible? I hate how Miniature Mentor uses Rackham, Ral Partha, and other really hard to find companies' miniatures. You can never follow stroke for stroke on those vids. And if this is DVD #1, what would the other ones be like(if this is supposed to be the comprehenssive guide)?

Love your work so far, this outta be really nice.

I can't promise a purchase, but I'm definitely considering it.

Also, once we buy the copy, can we burn it onto a dvd?

  • @Ydouneed2nomyname hey!

unfortunately for this i do use Rackham miniatures, but the dvd isn't designed for you to necessarily follow me paint miniatures, it's designed to teach you how to paint, not how to paint specific minis. This DvD specifically is about teaching technique, and how to apply it. You don't need to know "how to paint wolf skin", you instead, need to know how to choose the right colour, and then proper technique, as technique applies to any situation.

  • @ObsidianPainting On the miniatures subject, I just like comparing my practice work to see if I was able to replicate it so I know whether I'm doing it right or not, but of course I can still learn without that.In the dvd thing, That sounds like a massive deal right there. How much would each mini dvd be?

  • @Ydouneed2nomyname Each mini dvd will be 10-15$ based on length.

  • @Ydouneed2nomyname the other dvd's cover specifics like "how to paint skin" and "how to paint NMM" or metallics, Sculpting, weathering, and just overall specific topics. The main DvD already is going to be around 4+ hours, so to include all the stuff of the mini dvd's it would end up being 20+ hours

  • @ObsidianPainting also by burning onto a dvd, I meant so I can watch in on the TV so the images would be bigger.

  • @Ydouneed2nomyname i suppose you can do whatever you want with it, as long as you don't break copyright laws and try and sell it without permission.

  • @ObsidianPainting yeah ok! thanks!

  • Hi, would you have an idea or suggestion as to which brand of acrylic paint would be the most durable or scratch/bruise resistant for plastics. I just bought an entire collection of D&D minis and I plan to repaint them all in my pastime. Most of them have really crappy paint jobs although I see great potential in them look really fantastic if done with a decent paint job.

You have a really great channel and I love taking tips from your vids. Keep it up. Thanks.

  • @nozidnolram any paint specifically designed for painting miniautres would work best. Citadel paints, Vallejo(model, game, air) , P3 Paints, Andrea Paints, those would be my top picks.

  • "I have come to fix your plumbing"

"Ooooh, yah, excuse me being naked"

"Yah, it is no problem" ...

Hehe, good luck mate, hope the vids go well for you :)

  • Very cool!

  • looks fantastic will get my order in ..

  • If you DVD is like the video clips you just showed it's going to be an Out F-ing Standing deal for 20 dollars. At 15 dollars this is going to be an Epic DVD at that price! I hope you sell a lot of them Brother!

    Best of Luck,

    Martin

  • So this is a digital only video? How would the download work? Would the buyer have multiple downloads (for multiple PCs or future PCs) or just one download?

  • @LesterWAR once the dvd is purchased, your email is recorded forever. as long as i still have that email, and you still have receipt of purchase, you will have as many downloads as you like

  • Awesome!!!!!
