I live in a country where there is no need to carry a gun in the first place! We can leave our backdoors open when we leave our house and we won't have to be afraid of criminals robbing everything we have. Here in Holland we are working on a project wich will be finished in 2025. The aim is to create a transfrontier national park which allows animals from Germany to migrate all the way into western Holland and reverse without encountering any fences or whatsoever. Recently Lynx, Wisent and European wild cats have returned to our country and wolves are making a comeback also. Try to look for more natural ways if your aim is to reduce the numbers. It works for us here it could also work in the USA
We already have that between Canada and the US. There are few fences across the border and up here there are few fences in general. The best way to reduce numbers is to introduce a predator and no one wants the wolves back because they do great damage to domesticated animals and livestock, so we're left with the only other creature capable of that, humans.

Rich bastards who pay for this hunt come in the dead of winter while the bears are hybernating, sending their dogs into the den to wake up the sleeping bear, as they stand outside the den with their rifles, ready to shoot. Left behind are up to 10 THOUSAND helpless baby bear cubs that are either left to starve and freeze to death, or for a few very lucky ones, taken to one couple who is trying to help them at a refuge. I am very impressed in how you articulated your view on the matter. I am sincerely am not an anti-hunter. The a great deal if the worlds populace would not survive if they could not hunt - poor agricultural land for instance... I just can not stand to see man. beast fish or fowl suffer when it does not have to be that way - like you said - quick clean shots - in that event the animal does not even have the response time to suffer of feel pain.

I do not believe I will have the priviledge, however I dream for day when life respects life .... I know this is overly idealistic and not all that realistic, but my hope for the future is an instillment in man to respect the sanctity of life of all living creatures -and I do not mean to imply no hunting for it is the cycle of life as proven by animals that hunt themselves.

I certainly agree with that. I seen a program the other day where a man and his wife were neo-nazi for white power of course and they had their children with them and the kids were reciting the same hatred as their parents - I was very sad to see. I mus t say one thing however about hunting - I dare those that condemn it and consume store bought animal flesh to tour a few factory farms and slaughterhouses ... I dare to say they would keep their mouth shut about hunting.

YOU-TUBE is plaugued with video footage of these ethical hunters shooting drugged and canned animals. Guys hooting and laughing while 6 dogs rip a boar to pieces and these guys laugh! My husband is First Nations they pay tribute to and wordhip their quarry and pay homage and gratitide to their quarry. They do not laugh and make jokes at the suffering of an animal and brag.Before artillary man was no where near the top of the food chain.

I live in a country where there is no need to carry a gun in the first place! We can leave our backdoors open when we leave our house and we won't have to be afraid of criminals robbing everything we have. Here in Holland we are working on a project wich will be finished in 2025. The aim is to create a transfrontier national park which allows animals from Germany to migrate all the way into western Holland and reverse without encountering any fences or whatsoever. Recently Lynx, Wisent and European wild cats have returned to our country and wolves are making a comeback also. Try to look for more natural ways if your aim is to reduce the numbers. It works for us here it could also work in the USA

We already have that between Canada and the US. There are few fences across the border and up here there are few fences in general. The best way to reduce numbers is to introduce a predator and no one wants the wolves back because they do great damage to domesticated animals and livestock, so we're left with the only other creature capable of that, humans.

A sharp well placed arrow is as lethal a weapon as it comes.I my self have put down animals in less that 15 seconds with a well placed arrow. As for cruelty to animals is conserned, thats just plain BS in this case. The animal apears to be Dead with in seconds after the shot. If dont like the sound of Death than dont watch hunting video's. It's all part of the experiance.

Every single hunt should be done with a clean head shot because MOST of the time, the head shot will kill instantly, the animal wont feel anything. That is the honor of hunting. To hear it suffer is ruthless the animal diserves more respect than that.

Darling hunting as displayed by animals is part of the cycle of life however I have not yet seen animals laugh, torture and relish in the suffering of its quarry - as humans we have been endowed with something called intelligence and humanity - instead of act like sharks at a feeding frenzie we should show respect to the entities that keep us alive our ancestors did - they would roll over in their graves if they seen what some hunters of today use to justify their propensity towards cruelty.
