  • I am a chronic pain patient in and out of remission. For years I have been on fentanyl, 420, dilaudid, etc. The pain gets so bad, I could not function without all that. How does loss of gray matter affect people cognitively or emotionally? You will make a great shrink. I hope thar you will be located in the Valley or West Hollywood when you are in private practice.

  • @dylanesque66, The loss of gray matter influences us tremendously. cognitively and emotionally, we loose degrees of ourselves as a result of its loss. I have a suggestion for you, learn to meditate using mindfulness or Zazen. When you learn to put your feelings "asside" and see things as they are, the effects the pain will have on you will be tremendous. There is a subtle but distintive link between the two. And they influence one another.

  • Glad to hear it is all going well. Amazed that you managed to keep going through all the upheavals.

  • Yey! Congratulations :)

  • Congrats!
