I realized that your left hand plays more than 1 note, according to the music sheets from your description, left hand should be playing 1 note at a time. But you're smart to make the song easier to play. =D

Very beautifully played, just like the original. The timing is fantastic but it doesn't seem like you're focussing on a technically perfect piece of music, more that you're feeling how it should be. And that gives out a great deal of feeling too.

I've just had a go at playing this and I got stuck, after moving down into the bass clef, with the high notes that are introduced in the right hand. Watching this video has sorted that problem out though - I was playing the three note arpeggios all in the right hand which meant reaching the high notes then coming back down quickly enough to suit the rhythm was impossible. Now I know to play the first note of the arpeggio with my left hand, along with the bass note.

I'd say Rachmaninov with his big hands could play it with one hand. :p Maybe event two staves with one hand, who knows... ;-)
