I think having the in-game video camera feature is the most creative/smartest idea ever! Without it, there'd be no machinmas, not to mention very slim ways to show how much we love the Sims!
You don't need wedding stuff for them to get married, get a high enough relationship with a sim, then click on them and the word "propose" should be their - after that you can get married at any time!, just click propose --> marriage
You can ask someone to move in with you as long as you have a good relationship with them, the person you marry automaticly moves in with you when you get married! :)
but yet it show's, the Cash Register ?? < So if, I only have those 2 I can't use it ? even to sell Kitten's and Dog's in the UM :/ I Would Have to get on the game to know the name :/
I don't get how everyone hates Sims 3 and thinks Sims 2 is better. The Sims 3 just needs time to be as good as Sims 2! Sims 2 had about several years to be as good. So, if you wait for Sims 3 to actually release more expansion packs or whatever needs to be as better. You'll realize that your wrong for treating Sims 3 like it's just another crappy Simulations Game.
@DJFroggz I found Apartment Life and Bon Voyage incredibly interesting and amazing. The vacations are great and full of adventures. Apartment Life is kind of like having a dorm, but it's interesting to play and get some connections when trying to get promoted. Oh and you should consider acquiring the stuff packs as well. They offer really rad items.

@PPKproductions3 I have all expansions and all but one stuff packs and I want to install them on my laptop. But I'm getting a computer next week so it'd pretty much be pointless. If I install one then I want to install the next. ^^;

@LittleTank1 I think the reason it doesn't show the cutscene when they age is because of your graphics card. Your system probably just couldn't handle it. Check you game's Performance/Graphics settings.

The Sims 2 is way more addictive. The characters in Pleasantview etc. are much more interesting with better backstorys and I can find myself playing the Sims 2 for up to five hours! The Sims 3 is soo boring though, and I find myself having to switch to another family (or switch off the game) after about forty-five minutes. The Sims 2 has weather, pets businesses and recently I've switched off the Sims 3 and gone back to The Sims 2. I think EA should have stuck with TS2...
This looked like alot of fun at the time (it still is), but the drama involved never seemed very easy to occur naturally. I wonder how much control they had over the non-household characters.

I have Nightlife and it's well EPIC! Sims can have cars, DJ booth, go Downtown and even have an inventory! Here's a tip on how to keep pizza fresh, put it in one of your Sims' inventory. That's what I always do. Take it out when they need to eat.

1. Sims age the more you play them. They grow and get older.
2.Fears will lower the bar. Other then the wants, no there isn't a way to raise the bar.
3.Yes. and the sims that are shaded out are dead. If you play long enough, eventually your sims will die of old age.
4. If your sims is ready to grow, you may throw them a birthday party and if they are a toddler they must be brung to the cake by an adult to age.
5. Not really, there is just the "swagger" wall when bar is high

@ArabellaDeluna If you've had Sims 2 before, it will be a hard transition from S2 to S3 but if you haven't had Sims 3 it should be an okay game. I personally, from my experience from playing both games, you can do more on the Sims 2 and it s funner. Sims 3 is more of a "just wanna make time go faster" game and Sims 2 is the "I really wanna play this because it is really fun. SIMS 2 is my answer.

I have Nightlife and it's well EPIC! Sims can have cars, DJ booth, go Downtown and even have an inventory! Here's a tip on how to keep pizza fresh, put it in one of your Sims' inventory. That's what I always do. Take it out when they need to eat.
