  • where did you get the phone

  • I have AT&T family plan. $120 a month for 3 phones. 1400 shared minutes with rollovers. Can someone please tell me if this is good? We just all got nice new phones for an upgrade fee of approx. $25 each and forced a renewal of our contracts for 2 years! However, sucks is this DOES NOT include data. Is there anything else out there which is cheaper? ?

  • i have a prepaid phone. but i really want the LG env touch. Is there anyway to get the LG env touch on a prepaid plan???? and how much would it cost. :)

  • I use the Straight Talk unlimited plan for $45/mo personally. I like how I dont need to have good credit to get a smartphone with an unlimited plan. Also my phone works everywhere verizon does. I dont understand why anyone would be paying more!

  • Okay, so this video is old...for those who are looking at prepaid for the first time, things have changed drastically. Prepaid is for anyone who doesn't want to be tied to a lengthy contract and who want to pay less for their usage. Net10's unlimited plan is less than half that of Verizon or AT&T's equivalent. And you still have the option of these good networks for coverage. The phones may not be iphones, etc, but the savings are well worth your while.

  • Prepaid is the way to go, for those out there that still think tha prepaid is only for when you don't use your cellphone, big news... that's old! Lot of companies now have unlimited service with prepaid and cool phones too, like Straight Talk, they have great smart phones, really affordable and for only $45 a month you get unlimited voice, text and web. I swtiched and I do not regreat nor miss my old huge monthy bill.

  • I have a Straight Talk Nokia E71 prepaid phone. This is not a kid's toy but a serious business tool. I have unlimited calling, texts and data for $45 a month. I can access my e mails, search the web, download aps and have maps and navigation. This is as good as a blackberry and half the price. From a business owner's point of view, it is not a contract and you can "fire" the phone along with it's owner.

  • I am happy with my Boost Mobile Blackberry Curve 8530. $60 a month for unlimited talk, text, web, email, instead message & 411. Can't go wrong. The WiFi is very nice to have. Contracts are for suckers.

  • /watch?v=b6Rpmqlqw1w

  • He's not gonna fall for the banana in the tailpipe man!

  • What this guy says about prepaid cellphones being good for kids only is no longer true.

I Have a Net 10 unlimited phone and I can make as many calls as I like for $50 a month. It is not a kids toy. For me it is a serious business tool.

  • well i no tmobile has a good plan... like my sisters is $15 for unlimited text and then like 10 cents a minute for calling... but thats because she only really texts ^-^

  • I just read an article that the government is looking into ways to tax prepaid cell phone plans.....AhhH!!! I finally find a way to save money and the government is looking to take more of what I earned!

I have been using Tracfone for about 6 months, $45/month for unlimited talk, text and web, I have saved an average of $100/month on my bille

  • For me I went with prepaid because I just needed to save money. Have done a few with them. I am 100% happy with TracFone. . This has been the easiest, user-friendliest phone service I've ever had. I’ve got the Motorola W260Gand I think the design and ability to have a cool phone is something reallyimportant in looking at a prepaid cell phone.

  • i really wanted a prepaid phone and I travel a ton and wanted good coverage where I could get good service wherever I went. . Straight talk really helped me out with this advanced phone stuff and i soon got these new phones for my kids as well, who now love their new finesse's cause they can do amazing things. Offers me simplicity and real value for money that i cant believe they fit my business needs and family needs great service and best of all the ability to communicate with family far away

  • I want to get a prepaid cellphone without my parents finding out do you have to be over 18 to get a prepaid cellphone with minutes?

  • @codelyokoblue No. You can just buy a phone and most come with Minutes or Money. If you dont want them to find out then just go buy the phone and make sure you either have a house phone or a computer (Your typing this now so Im guessing you do) to activate it and what I do for AT&T is first you buy the phone and activate it If im right the LG Neon is around 60$ at walmart now, I bought it for 93$ and Im getting the LG Prime soon which is 100$ but both came with(I will continue on diff comment.)

  • @codelyokoblue 50$ worth of money which all you do is activate the phone and you get it. Unlimited texting is 20$ so thats 2 and 1/2 months worth of unlimited texting while 1000 Texts is 10$, as for callling Nights and weekends is 20$ I think with 60$ per month talk & Text Unlimited. The Data plans are 1MB For 5$ I think, and 100 MB for 20$, But the hard part on AT&T is if you dont refill your Account then it will delete your number if im right in like 6 months. (I will continue on diff comment)

  • @codelyokoblue The cards with the amount of money you pay for them goes on your account unless you know a AT&T Store that will do that for you which you still will need to buy your own prepaid plans which you can change per month all the money from that is extracted from your account. So really yes you can do it, but they will probably find out where you spend all your money at and what you spend it on unless they dont get curious or anything

  • yes, my money, and i like to spend it wisely and not waste it. now that i have finally switched to tracfone prepaid i feel that every cent i spend on my cellphone plan is spent well.with tracfone i get exceptionally cheap airtime thanks to the double minutes for life they offer, i have great nationwide coverage, don't have to pay extra for long distance and for overseas calls i pay local rates. on contract i never quite understood where most of my money went, too many hidden costs and overages

  • prepaid is the future, that's for sure. i can no longer understand why i ever was on contract. since i am on tracfone prepaid i save a lot of money and have much better reception. and not only kids need to be controlled with their cellphone spendings, i also feel so much better knowing at all times where i stand with my finance.with contract i had a better phone, but with the saving i have since i am with tracfone, it will not take long to safe enough money to buy a fancy phone. prepaid fan...

  • I've been with Tracfone for 7 years and see no reason to change as saved a ton of money over that time! I get double the minutes I paid for when I buy airtime, free incoming texts and most important for me is that I get my overseas calls at the same rate as local calls as I have a LOT of friends and family offshore!

  • i have done a lot of research and Net10 has seemed like the best deal. I am thinking about getting one for myself and my wife for the holidays. i havent heard of any carrier that can beat their $50/month unlimited plan.

  • I'll never go with a contract again.....it's like quicksand....you never know how deep the cellphone bill is gonna be! Straight Talk has made my life much better....$45.00 a month for unlimited talk, text and data and that's it....no surprises and I'm saving big time!

  • I think nowadays with the econmy going so bad people are a lot more concious about their expenses, and so am I. i switched to Straigth Talk about 8 months ago after checking out all the options out there. Staright talk was a good choice, I went over to walmart, got if off the rack for a great price and now I only pay $45 a month for unlimited web, text and voice, I've been saving money and I couldnt be happier with my phone service!

  • Straight Talk offers such value for you dollar, I am an interior designer so my location can be anywhere. Sometimes I work really far from home and have to make a ton of 411 calls as well as contacting each vendor to ensure I will be getting the right product. Just image how much my bill is with Straight Talk $45..........HOW IS THAT FOR A DEAL.

  • It needs to be said that straight tal kvery well does have the cheapest unlimited plan at $45. But if you're having a bad month, or you know you'll be spending less time on the phone then what you want is to be on net10. Their unlimited plan is only $5 more expensive, but they have the choice of the $15 plan that gives you 200 minutes.

  • don't know which provider this guy is talking about, but let me tell you : i am now on a prepaid plan. a prepaid plan from straight talk for $45 a month. i get unlimited talk, text, data, free 411 calls and no extra charges for long distance. no overages, no hidden fees, no extra's for nothing. straight forward deal with straight talk. $45 a month for unlimited usage of my phone.go check it out for yourselves at walmart if you don't believe me. it's the truth

  • Oh! Totally! I'm a believer. Pre paid phones are the new network! I got myself a Straight Talk, a slider with camera and mp3, and yeah it's a prepaid and it's awesome. I don't have to hear my parents bug me about the bill anymore! I pay only $45 a month for unlimited, text, voice and web and believe me... I text a lot! it's the best ever.

  • Virgin mobile is the way to go! They even have a droid now!

  • Straighttalk prepaid cell phones are extremely popular for me. Up until now I have put my folks, sister and friend on the $45 unlimited for 30days and they are ecstatic

  • prepaid is the way to go. i think it is great for my boy that's just gone back to college. we got him a phone from net10 and got 300 free minutes with the purchase.he has got 60 days to use them and then he will pay 10c per minute and 3c a text. that is good value for money for a student.net10 has good nationwide coverage, and he is soooooo happy with his new phone. he got an mp3 player, video, camera and qwerty.

  • Hey Poindexter.try StraightTalk wireless for $45 a month unlimited everything. You can not beat it!

  • this guy is so wrong. try out Straight Talk unlimted talk, text and web access for only $45 a month. he obviously does not know about this one. no hidden costs anywhere in sight. no extra charges even for long distance calls. suggest he gets a wake up call and goes to walmart to check out this great Straight Talk deal.

  • My cousin got a Samsung Finesse from Straight Talk with the $45.00 per month unlimited usage plan and I was so jealous!! Luckily her Mom is my Mom's sister so I was able to wangle one for my birthday and man do I love my phone...thanks Straight Talk!

  • This video is a bit outdated for those doing a bit of research on prepaid...prepaid can be great for both business and high volume usage. Straight Talk offers unlimited everything for $45...a fraction of what I was paying on contract. Won't ever go contract again.

  • OMG! The voice is kind of creepy! So true!

It's also true that prepaid phones are growing popularity! I got one for my teen son, I had to! He doesn't have hands! those are turbo texting machines! With Straight Talk I pay only $45 a month and he can text until his finger fall for all I care! Lol

  • Good advice for new prepaid users or those thinking of switching. The only thing I would change is that there is still a good deal if you use a lot of minutes, as some have mentioned, the Unlimited plan from Straight Talk is $45 for 30 days of unlimited everything, minutes, texts and data. Great deal for high-volume users, while still being on prepaid!

  • pre paid is the way to go. I dont plan on ever signing a contract again Straight Talk FTW

  • I've found that Straight Talk is the answer....$45.00 per month buys you unlimited calling, texting and web access with no other hidden fees to give you a nasty surprise at the end of the month!! AND you can get a smart-phone if you want one!

  • Virgin Mobile $25 a month, or Boost if u need unlimite talk as well

  • This man's voice scares me.

  • Alot of prepaid phones are switching there plans, look at metro pcs and boost they are putting extra pressure on these carriers!

  • Someone hates their job

  • Boost Mobile, $50 dollars a month, unlimited nationwide talk, web, text, walkie-talkie .

  • Not true you can get bundle plans just like postpaid

  • STRAIGHT TALK =)

  • is this ryant gubbles son?

  • got a pre paid phone but we are going to do unlimited on it

  • prepaid phone suck gust get a monthly plan for like 30 dollars a month.you dont have to be scared about minutes or other gay crap like that

  • if you hate prepaid phones then why are you whatching this?

  • maybe because people like to state opinions...

Oh, and BTW you spell "watch" W A T C H. Not "whatch" smart one

  • well, somebodys moody, and you have potty mouth.

  • LOL. "smart one"? is a bad word to you? how old are you, 9?

  • that was camilluskid not you,

  • Why when you'll get less minutes than Straight Talk offers (30 gets you 1,000 mins and 1000 texts - 45 gets you unlimited everything) AND be stuck in a contract?

  • Nowadays the Straight Talk unlimited plan is the best. All the others have spotty coverage. Don't even start me on Boost, lol. The Verizon coverage is the best part of Straight Talk. No other prepaid carrier can boast that kind of network coverage, even if they can match the low rates. And ST is also the only one giving free 411 calls. That saves quite a bit of money!

  • @SamaTurn I have Boost Mobile, the Blackberry from Boost, text / email are fast and the web is 3G. no problem watching youtube. Never a dropped call, coverage where ever I am.

Sent from my BlackBerry® by Boost Mobile

  • whatever any of you guys do DO NOT GET boostmobile..worse fucking prepaid company ever ..i have the 1465cltuch one of there best phone..i miss 4 to 5 calls a day sumtime if i get to many txt mssges it wont even let me read them it will say error.!!! verizon prepiad...net10..v mobile..best bet

  • i got a plan but no contract i can cancel anytime.

  • me too.

  • @DarthCybie oh okay...keep me updated :)

  • I calculated with tracfone it can be as low as 6.67$ a month

  • Boostmobile,$50 dollars a month. Unlimited talk, text, walkie talkie, & internet.

  • @DarthCybie I've had boost mobile and it sucks in my area. the texts are delayed, the phones are high priced, and the calls are poor.

  • Never had the problems.

  • what state r u in?

  • Outside of Boston.

  • Omg, GAY?

  • oh geesss.. ur phones are way sooooooo complicated!! our phones here in wonderland are far off much better!! we can use our phone and change sim cards fro any networks for as long as we want for only a dollar!! and get nationwide coverage! and monthly minutes only for 8-10 dollars!! and thats unlimited calls and text messaging all networks.. great deal

  • with Straight Talk it's $30 for 1000 min. and 1000 texts and 30 MB of internet. Or you can get unlimited everything for 45 a month. And there phones are good best prepaid service out there.

  • this dude doesn't know waht hes talkin bout! att and verizon have texting bundles and .25 a minute. i have verizon and i pay $25 a month!

  • Comment removed

  • Global mobile 1 is a scam.

  • Your right actually,

They said they could deliver but the end results is there is a new company that we are moving to which is still has not launched yet! and were keeping the name of the company unknown to keep bloggers and trash talkers out of our hair. Some of our top leaders are Bernard McCargo, Betty miles, Bud Nemeth, and my personal sponsor Beth Hinson Phillips.

  • Prepaid sucks. I only use my phone when there's a emergency and I called my relatives three time less within a week. My minutes were depicting my account and I had to add in more money.

My initial deposit was 15 when I got the phone and started the service. Five days later, I have to add in $15 more dollars. Not only that their plans are rip-off, but there's also a catch on this service too. And no you're not paying $.25 for a full minute! lol

  • @Misshaircare2009

You just need to shop for a better Prepaid plan. There are many different ones out the Straight Talk and Page Plus are a couple of the better deals going.

  • @navydave1 I prefer Straight Talk :) it has better phones, which one do you have?

  • I previously had Net10 and bought a Straight Talk phone over the Holidays. The Samsung R451C. Still waiting for my minutes to run out on the Net10 and then I will port my number over. Been playing with the phone for a couple of days and its a really nice phone.

  • @navydave1 Oh nice. let me know how things go for you.. im thinking of getting the Samsung R451C as well :)

  • looks so weird and talks like a nerd with sinus problems

  • hes wrong you can get unlimited talk for just 49.99 with virgin mobile and that includes long distance and international calling with unlmited text for just 10 bucks extra my mom has unlimited text and talk with sprint and her bill is 99 dollars a month id rhater only pay 60 than 99 and not all prepaid phones suck and look awkward try the kyoceraa x-tc it has full qwerty keyboard mp3 player and a 1.3 mega pixel camera its also a slder and has a 2.5 inch i think thats right screen

  • So, which service provider is better. I got Verizon wireless for two week and I'm starting to dislike them. Within two weeks of service they billed me for months of service I never rendered and though that bill is an error I'm being hit with a one time activation fee.

A $39 Basic post plan will be close to $90 for activation fee of $35 and the basic plan. Yeah, what a rip-off.

  • he sounds like a fag lmao

  • boost mobiles way better

  • Any prepaid with good video?

  • you can just use a prepaid sim on any phone so i dont know whats the problem

  • plz tell me what prepaid phone i should get and where 2 get it!

  • well what type of phoen are you looking at i mean how much do you want to spend are you looking for a cheap plan with everything or what you tell me i can help you

  • hey i got boost mobile now the 50 dollar plan and you get everything for it unlimited minutes and unlimited texting and everything else like the internet as well so

  • You can pick any day when you have virgin mobile monthly plans. There are five monthly plans to pick from and you can pay any day you wanna pay but it will go over into next's month. So pick a day thats good for you.

  • Hey i' ve got a prepaid phone. I got virgin mobile and they got monthly plans and pay as you go. For 10 buck a month on the monthly plan i get unlimited texting so maybe the guy who was talking is not very smart and guess what Virgin mobile is the only prepaid company that's got a keyboard phone and i've got it and it's blue tooth wireless. so this guy does not know shit.

  • verizon wirless and t mobile and us cellular and alltel prepaid have a phone with a qwerty keyboard and bluetooth.

  • so does virgin mobile and boost mobile got the one that looks like a blackberry but cheaper

  • sorry i forgot to say them

  • thats ok just helping you out

  • I think Pre-paid phones are great for the kids, they may not be as cool as the I-phone or the Razor, but at least it allows them to stay connect with their friends, while keeping in mind that there is a limit to their minutes.

  • i think your wrong there! razors can be put on pay as you go!!!! just iphones and blackberrys cant be

  • Oh, I didn't know that. Still kids don't deserve fancy phones. So long as it work in case of an emergency what else does a kid need a phone for?

  • yeah i agree i hate it when like 11-15 year old kids are walkin around with like black berrys iphones etc. i mean these phones are like 300 dollers and all they use them for is textin..i bet most kids text more then they talk..im 13 also

  • I've already made the transition.

What went as a christmas gift gone wrong, has turned into my new pre-paid cell phone.

has been saving me so much money since the year's start.

  • i know what you mean i did the samething but not with my christmas present though but i got a cheap plan for me and it's working out great i got boost mobile the 50 dollar plan it works great for me

  • Whoa, is this guy related to Mike Tyson?
