@Freyja1133 Yes, there was a girl group called The Honeys ("honeys" being a surfer term for beach girls) . Their producer and chief songwriter was Brian Wilson, who viewed them as sort of a female counterpart to his group, The Beach Boys. Despite no hits of their own, The Honeys sang the cheerleader parts on The Beach Boys' "Be True To Your School" and backup of Jan & Dean's "New Girl In School," "Deadman's Curve" and "The Little Old Lady From Pasadena. Brian married member Marilyn Rovell.
Brian and Marilyn are the parents of Wendy and Carnage, the 'Wilson' of the 90's pop group Wilson Phillips (the 'Phillips' is Chynna Phillips Baldwin, the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas/Billy Baldwin's wife/Alec's sister-in-law/Mackenzie's half-sister).
Saw these girls in-person at a 1964 Clark Race record hop. Other performers that night were Lou Christie, the Tammys & Dionne Warwick. The crowd was so huge, some had to be turned away.
