Private businesses should be unionized. Before the unions there were robber barons and children working in factories. People worked for too many hours, in horrible conditions and for slave wages.
@YYZpresto keep in miund that in a tight job marked employees cant reallly "choose" where they work. you are forced to take what is available. so why not force the company to pay a little better? you can bet the company belongs to "unions" or trade organizations like the chamber of commerce or the nfib. with 5 or more unemployed people for every job, what we have is hardly a "free market", it is a fully controlled "employers" market.
@YYZpresto the business community is making sure we DO NOT have a free market by making sure the labor force is flooded with very high levels of immigrants who are willing to work for less.
The simple truth is that, money is power (in jew-run societies). Anyone who works there must have no money at all because they are giving up all of their power and dignity; that is very sad. You are right in recommending unionization. Corporations cannot be allowed to treat people as they do in China. We must have morals and standards as a country. If they pull out of Callispel, then to hell with them. Stand together or become slaves. That is a sleazy type of business anyway.
Union's are kind of wanky, I see why people organize to make a government wage, but government should be out of this totally. Also, uneducated folks that do very simple tasks shouldn't make as much as doctors because of the power of a union. Your thoughts?
My thoughts are that the employees at Teletech need to contact the CWA and begin forming a union there. The abuses by management of the employees must come to an end!
@HansBooBee MY thoughts are that before unions we had children working in factories and tons of employee abuses(most people with power don't do the right thing) but the unions can go a bit far.
I agree with you. We would never have gotten a minimum wage had it not been for the unions. At one time a person could support themselves on earning a minimum wage, those days are long gone though thanks to the Fed wrecking the currency's buying power.
@Holmes1313 I totally agree, but it's always a bad idea when government gets involved with these matters. Hell, it's bad when government rubs elbows with private enterprise too, look what happened with the Ludlow massacre. I think it's good that people organize to drive up wages that are currently just pitiful. I also think when government gets involved, you'll have people doing simple tasks, getting overpaid, hurting the job provider.
@HansBooBee Your right the government should have a very limited role in business they destroy almost evrything they touch.Look at the post office(Ben Franklin) works pretty well (200 years)keeps cost down for the industry then they make outragous demands of them raising their cost of doing business and now it's on it's way out.If we lose the postal service fedex ups ect. rates will skyrocket.Yet another attack on the founding fathers.
I don't agree with unionization, but I will not discount the situation is bad. The real truth is a handful of criminals usually rise to the top of the local union and all you have is an illusion of prosperity. The sad fact is they (the elite) are collapsing the economic system and the average person is becoming nothing more than a slave. If you are unwilling to be their slave they will force you into homelessness & starvation.
My wife and I escaped Kalispell, Montana in 2009 and it was the best move we could have made. We could see the town, and to a larger degree the state of Montana, turning into a meth-soaked cesspool. The movie "American Meth" was based to a large degree in Kalispell. Any union efforts will most likely be suppressed by the Kalispell Police, but only when they are not dealing drugs and collecting their ill gotten gains. My advice? Leave Montana before the state falls apart entirely.
@johnu78 I greatly respect what you are trying to accomplish, I hope you understand that. Unfortunately, Montana has some dire, perhaps fatal, flaws that even the best intentions can not overcome. The movie American Meth summed up perfectly our experience in Kalispell, I am sorry to say. The only edit I would have made to the movie is the Kalispell police selling meth openly in downtown Kalispell, maybe across from the Genki Japanese place or perhaps the Kalispell Grand Hotel.
@johnu78 I could see back in 2009 that Kalispell was on the verge of social and economic collapse, so we bailed out and moved back to Virginia. I would strongly advise anyone that is considering a move to Montana to cancel it and look into other areas. I have had Montana "natives" openly brag that the local sport was chasing people out of town. A HVAC guy in Cut Bank boasted, right to my face, that he had a warehouse filled with stuff from his renters that were forced out of town.

We're moving backwards as far as workers rights are concerned, that much is for sure!

If the workers don't like the way they are treated, they should leave. It's that simple.
It's called a free market. They hire and fire who they want, and employees can chose to work there or not.
No company can survive if it's losing good employees.

I see your point. But I think Teletech's Kalispell call center can be salvaged by having it unionized. A Teletech Union is the Only Solution :o)

Well.. they already sent it as far as ARGENTINA.. that's where the video you commented was shot.. That was me.. hi..
I wish unions worked the same way everywhere but down here would make the investment to go away..
In any case.. From the US perspective I have to agree.. The Union is the ONLY way to make them change their ways..
And they DO have tons of money.. I worked for OSC.. Ran the numbers on big accounts such as Best Buy JPMC and HSBC...

Thank you for your comment. It is my sincerest hope that this video will help inspire union building efforts inside the Kalispell call center.

I'm hoping this video will inspire at least some of the employees to begin unionization efforts there.

For some reason it's not letting me reply, but for those wanks you mentioned, I wish them a lifetime of diarrhea. Sound reasonable?
