  • @jezjonsonvideos or is to have and to hold?

  • bust a gut to this tune many a night. a've it ;)

  • What a nuts tune! Remember going ballistic to this in 1990 when I first started getting into dance music. Saw these boys at Manchester G-Mex when they supported the Mondays and they totally blew them off the stage. What are the chances that they'll be supporting the Roses at Heaton Park next year?

  • Sounds like pretty rudimentary dance music by today's standards. Maybe I'd appreciate it more if I'd been an adult when this was first popular.

  • @MegaCrasher3000 yeah dude if your not approaching 40 or so it probably does sound weak by todays standard dance tune but at the time it was a new sound along with a new drug ,,the rest is history as they say :)

  • @MegaCrasher3000 not rudimentary - this tune has soul !

  • Great thank you!

  • birth of hardcore rave. manchester was alive but when this hit the hacienda it erupted

  • Comment removed

  • @blustardave In Yer Face was originally released in Amercia on the Cubik vinyl under Tommy Boy Records which is what you are seeing in this video. It was later added to Ex:El and released as a single in the UK.

  • @bloodangels100 You know it ! How lucky we were to grow up when we did and live through the music of that wonderous era - compare that with the modern shite, blandcore rubbish............

  • Awesome tune

  • 1990/91 so brilliant times.

The anthemic bit with the narration from 0.15 to 0.42 is pure class, gives me goosebumps, one of my all time favourite moments in music.

  • BBC 2 LIQUID TV!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Palto Alto 1989, 1990?, CA. A few months later saw them open for New Order at the Shoreline. Now I live in Missouri and farm corn. Oh how time have changed since then.

  • @cypherks i seen them open for New Order at the Hollywood Bowl, must have been the same tour. Now in Wyoming with more farm and corn. lol

  • @sysrq69

Just turned 45, daughter is in NYC living the life of a 20-something, and I'm happy with the wife and greenhouses in the country. Is it fair to say that the long nights of MDMA, rave music and being content later in life are not mutually exclusive? For the record, I never burned out, and never got E-Tarded, but tell you what - I sure learned a lot about myself and how humans interacted with each other.

  • in ya face... spot on ;)

  • Parts of this song reminds me some Tekken Tag Tournament songs.

  • There are old forces in the world...

  • where are they in may?saw them in 1990 and 1992

  • so ahead of its time

  • This song makes me tear up in the beginning its so good.

  • The American system is failing to deal with the real threats to life, the bomb, the polution of air and water, the population explosion, mountain slums and Rebecca Black.

  • Ah the good old days, when all you lived for was the weekend! Whats unique about this era was that there were no greedy managers trying to make a buck from manufactured pop. it was a grey market, everyone involved were in it for the music the all nighters the pills and the happy times. It was a controversial time where illegal raves were the places to be. A couple of pils and a bottle of water, oh and the vix, Every time I get a whif I dont think of a nasal probs i think of Happy days? LOL

  • @alex010278 same here! just wondering if i had gotten old or does todays music really suck?

  • @johnplatt1 lol, there's a lot of shitty music today, but i'm p sure you're just too old to know about any cool music or you at least just have no friends with good taste to tell you about the good shit.

p.s. if your old ass voted for reagan, just kill yourself already.

  • @sdskyle you don't know shit about me, yes there are a few good bands out there but i bet you don't know who they are because you probably listen to nickleback and justin bieber you dipshit, go fuck yourself

  • @sdskyle by the way i am 40, so if you can calculate you will see i was not old enough to vote for reagan.

  • @MOSTechnology Where did you bring it to? lol

  • "coz the youth of today aint got no imagination everything they do springs from us olduns" ....cant say i disagree with you

  • @happentodie The 'olduns' said that about our generation 20 years ago. LOL

  • Yea, total flashback to the beginnings of techno. Believe it or not, I believe this band was a huge influence on rave music back in the day. This shit takes me all the way back to high school when I discovered techno. Now i can't stop spinning these crazy records!

  • This takes me back to countless nights in clubs spinning these tunes. Thank you!!!

  • Listening to this takes me back to a such definitive time in my life, when I was learning about who I was, understanding life and just enjoying myself in the club scene with my friends and these wonderful tunes. As simple as those times were, It really was a time I wish I could return to.

  • @DAZZMAN1971USA i like ur style & i wished id ave been there at that night! But wasnt it actually filmed in 1990? Its on the optical 90 808 state video & Cobra bora, cubik & pacific videos are footage from the KU club with all the acid house heads dancin in the fountains & Eric on stage with his fan!
