are you sure, you talking about dancesport? because a solo dance has always one couple on the floor.

@ewy67 you are right, normally a solo is one person. but in the idsf dancesport the dancing couples compete while dancing all at the same time. since one couple is one unit at latin dancing it is called solo, because just 1 couple is dancing at a time ;)
