My marching Band played this song for our indoor concert. My euphonium rank had the main melody as a solo, and I tried my best to get it. I didn't, so I got home and figured out how to play it on my ocarina. It was nowhere as goo as this rendition, of course... But it still made me happy. Listening to the recording from the concert always makes me cry... So many good memories.

It's the song that Picard plays on the Recorder during the entire episode. He plays it multiple times throughout the episode. In fact, the episode ends with him playing it on the Recorder in his Ready Room.
