As for Aidan being insecure and that's why he proposed is not true. Carrie was the one that begged Aidan to take her back, claiming that she was still in love with him. She paniced when she realized that Aidan truly loved her and wanted a real life with her. Carrie should have never accepted Aidan's proposal when she knew that her heart belonged to Big. She should have had the decsenty to tell him the truth.

Although, I LOVE Aiden to death I really do think that Carrie belongs with Big. Aiden didn't deserve her, he was too good for her even though he loved her. He put his all into the relationship that he had with Carrie and frankly, at times Carrie didn't give a damn. As a man, I can vouch that some women (I am gay and have had tons of women friends in my lifetime, as well as gay men who face the same issues with other men) seem to need and want drama in their lives and complain when there isn't any and then complain as well when there is too much of it! Ladies, if you have a good man, keep him. Women complain when a guy is too sensitive or too nice and freak out when everything is perfect. It's hard to find a good man, so keep that in mind.
