  • Do u know what kind of jet you flew into juliana on

  • noo mr buff !! I kept using my cellphone nokia 6300 in the airplane making videos despite of the air hostess warning... and my cellphone speaker got damaged... !!

  • what if the concorde lands at TNCM.....?ppl would be deaf....

  • the reason they ask you to turn off your devices is so you pay attention to the instructions they give you ... nothing more . electronics do nothing to the plane ... i know i fly one.... so capture your vacation so you can have wonderful memories.

  • @buffwhimp104 I'm a student pilot also, and that's what I pretty much expected, they don't want you to be distracted

  • @buffwhimp104 well my father forgot his cellphone in the plane I rented for training and my mother called and the radios went crazy, she called six times, we actually realized that the interference was caused by the cellphone when on the ground. We thought it could have been some faulty equipment or a radio controlled model beneath us... One cellphone was annoying, imagine 280 cellphones...

  • the reason they ask you to turn off your devices is so you pay attention to the instructions they give you ... nothing more .

  • i wish planes flies that low around the globe! just imagine the sceneries! i would pay for one that travels slower, as long as it flies low, with bigger windows

  • @ganteng133 I agree that sometimes you should fly lower... but airlines fly at high altitudes because of the thiner air. They make more money flying people to destinations, fast.

  • The bahamas is better

  • Actually it can interfere with the flux valves in the outer wing that the planes computers uses to sense its direction relative to the earths magnetic field, because all electronics produce a small magnetic field. Chances are low but at those speeds and close to the ground its better to be safe than sorry.

  • What aircraft was that?

  • KLM?

  • do the flight attendents allow u to take vids???

  • @fearfulAC130 why does it matter? any device that does not have an internal transmitter can be used [ and if it does, the transmitter must be turned off. if the transmitter cant be turned off, the device must be turned off. ]. during takeoff, you must wait until you reach 10,000 feet. during landing it doesnt matter, as long as the pilot has been cleared for landing on the specified runway by atc.

  • @johnathon so ur supposed to turn ur camera off on takeoff?

  • @fearfulAC130 supposedly yes, as they dont allow you to use any electronic devices until you reach 10,000 feet. im still trying to figure out why, but right now i dont really care as long as i can use my iPod ^_^

  • @johnathon124 can you please find out why because i am going to Europe this summer and I want to take a vid on the plane but I dont want to mess with the plane in any way at all.

  • @fearfulAC130 you can go ahead and take the vid, just dont get caught. flight attendants arent allowed to stand up until the plane reaches 10000 feet, and passengers arent allowed to get up until the plane reaches its cruising altitude, so getting caught isnt going to happen. it but if your taking the vidd with your phone or something.. careful, they might tell you to turn it off. video cameras they wont bother you on. even tho ur not supposed to, its not messing with anything, so they allow it.

  • gosh thats low

  • 1:32 :P

  • Great vid. Check mine out too, I was just there in Feb/Mar.

  • It's a Continental 757

  • Yes. For sure it,s a Boeing 757-200.

  • This was an American 737 from Miami

  • very cool worth the trip lol

  • You Would Not Be Able To Sleep At Night With The Aircraft Landings All The Time.

  • good video.

    737

  • If it would have banked, CLAP! It would have slapped into the water!

  • souds like a 757 with PW engines indeed

  • no actually it kinda looks like a super80

  • @Floh RB211's actually.

  • Yeah, indeed you're right. had to listen to it once more.

  • if i may guess...is it a 757? the shadow when the plane´s over the beach lookes like it

  • actually sorry you are right because the engine on the wing and it looked like a 757

  • Nice view but in my eyes not as spectacular as from the ground! :)

  • OMG Im going for summer break!!!! With my cuzz its gonna be tight we get to stay at a penthouse!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my god that water looks great. *sighs* Makes new york look like a shit hole. (kind of think about it, new york is crap on its own. :( )

  • That great blue water is infested with sharks!

  • thats ok; the beauty is much better observed from land :)

  • ive gone evry year since i was 0 and i am now drooling cuz ima about to go in 33 days :'( !

  • Nice video!

  • nice vid :-)

I've done the same video but from the other window (right view) in HD (high definition)

it is viewable by clicking on my name

  • it's Boeing 757-223 operated by American Airlines

gret vid :) thanks for sharing

    5/5 stars definitely

  • what a/c is it?

  • This is not boring, its awesome!! Wanna go there someday!!!

  • ive been there it's soooooooooooo cool

  • Cool video! The sea looks simply beautiful! Princess Juliana Intl ist one of the most exciting airports! 5 Stars

  • its the first time I have ever seen an in plane landing at this airport. which makes it a must see.

  • godofwar2master :...but there are actually many videos on youtube of planes landing on this airport...there are videos from the outside and the cockpit which makes this a booring video!!!

  • see you in 5 days st.maarten

  • why did u choose to record the runway at 1:30-1:49?

  • lixbeyond :...exactly...

  • thank you

  • What airplane? What airline?

  • man that place looks beautiful

  • Nope, its a myth... it doesn't effect the aircraft in anyway, don't worry.

  • an u still believe everything they tell you.....

  • rather be safe then sorry

  • @rencaff what airliner and airline was that??

  • cuz it could screw with the planes electronics amd on every flight they tell u to turn thme off

  • Hahahahhaa. LMAO. Its 10 minutes after take off and 10 minutes before landing. The time when most accidents happen.

  • I actually seen videos taken by captains themselves of landings at airports, the only thing you can't do is call using a cell phone, or any other device that emits a signal.

  • I wish the dumb bitch off camera would have shut up.

  • should hab u video cam off!!

  • why? what?

  • @rencaff cause no electronics during th plane is in the sky ,

  • @rencaff coz' it is announced not to use any electronic devices during take off or landing..

  • @sharkers08 let me explain you.... no all electronic devices could created problems on an aircraft for example there just a few ones who can and that could happend especially if you are in the cockpit but the most smart thing that the companies can do is turn off everything... u know just in case cause u cant check every electronic device from the passangers on a flight and a ordinary camcorder is not on that list

  • @sharkers08 thing calleed flight mode?

  • where were u flyin frm

  • Clear Blue Water! Hot Beaches! Hot Bitches! Low Flying Aircraft! Pure Paradise!

  • The water is so blue ! Amazing !

  • St Martin fucking rocks! Best vacation I've had in years!

  • Ok, will somebody please tell me the name of the huge hotel on the left as they are approaching landing. Gracias, Thank-you, Prego, Domo, Chokran, Danke. :)

  • The resort immediately to the left of the runway is the Royal Islander.

  • Thanks! I knew I could count on you. ;)

  • isn't that MAHO?

  • yesd it is

  • muy buen video

  • All I kept hearing was these two moronic chicks going 'blah-blah'blah-blah-blah' the whole time. I swear the only reason why women don't fart is because they talk too much and talk their gas out.

    Good vid, tho!

  • but they do.

  • Funny, even fat broads don't fart, but when you think about it, all they do is talk...and even worse. My theory is proven.

  • God bless American tourists talking their inconsequential shit.

  • where is this?

  • St maarten (Netherlands antillen) in the Caribbean my home. Big Upss

  • uh... Landing at Princess Juliana Airport - St Maarten - MUST SEE

  • It's at the backyard pool of your distant second uncle's place, which you'll never see because your mom married outside of good breeding stock and thus eradicating herself from the family fortune. Heeeeere's your sign.

  • its on youtube mikedahl1

  • bel video..

  • I think it's awesome how one second it's like vast ocean and then the next, WHOOSH, runway! =D

  • cell phones and radios dude

  • hahaha mickey mouse how did you see thats i had to stop the video to look

  • its near the middle to the left

  • wheres mickey mouse?

  • Love that airport.

  • lol

  • A has a great honeymoon here one time! Thanks for sharing your landing experience. :-)

  • amazng!! when did u go to st maarten??

  • Wow! Great video! Well Done :)

  • Its a pretty freaky approach, I flew an american 757 form NYC and was on the other side from you, its more scary on the other side cuz you dont see any land on that side until you see this outside bar next a small road which seperates the beach from the runway, I was so freaked out but if I had another chance to experience it again, i would take it :)

  • So have I...the approach is like landing on a battleship. Every time I have been there, the same. That bar was still there last time I went... LOL !

  • where were coming from?

  • Hello Rencaff

I've been to St. Maarten 2 x's. And you captured the runway/beach/water perfectly* You did a great job!You made me miss the island.

    NMB

  • terrrible camera angle man, common your flying into tncm, surley you can lift it up and show what you saw.

  • You know what, if you can stick your hand out the window, you would be a great photographer. You are in a passenger seat, how are you supposed to get a better angle?

Have you ever been on an airplane.....

  • urm well maybe hold the camera up???

  • Yeah, I agree. Nice shot of the runway though! hehe We missed the first half of the field.

  • very nice

  • what were you flying in?

  • American Airlines Boeing 757

  • How much did u spent for 1 week in this place including the airplane tickets. thanks.
