@talltommy46 Good call with the pot iodide....but in my opinion, radioiodine is relatively small potatoes...and at least you can take pills to saturate the thyroid. If Strontium gets ingested, it's a 'bone seeker'. That would be the one to look out for mostly. Took swabs of my car yesterday (I'm in UK) Took 'em in to work. Clean, thank goodness. But for how long? Had about 20 cps on the car after Chernobyl.
