Cradle of Filth sure are a great band. I mean the melodic, whip-lashing guitar solos and riffs. Galloping drums on top of it all, this is a complete masterpiece. Even though they did indeed change previous styles, they still are a great band and is a true pleasure to follow them as a group.

Well, whoever posted these lyrics online is very uneducated. It is clear not many people care about lyrics. Even though its the most important part of Cradle of Filth's music. In any event, even though this was Cradle of Filth's low point, the lyrics are still much better than what you hear out of those radio posers or those who just plain can't write good lyrics. I am glad they improved their lyrics prowess once more though. Welcome back Cradle!

@Supersonix007: Unfortunately, there aren't reliable sources of their lyrics online. Many of them felt like taking their own liberties with Cradle of Filth's lyrics. The most reliable source for these lyrics are in the album lyric-book itself. And I'm not sure anyone have posted scans of that, at least ones that have not been removed from the internet.

@TheKuroiSheep I actually thought the entire concept - the band's image, their lyrics, the musical styles, etc. - was most important. Like they would not have as grand an impact if they were lacking in any single area. I don't listen to them a huge amount, but they are definitely the best band of whatever genre they are classified into, if the band isn't a genre in itself.

The lyrics aren't as good as they usually are. They're more simplistic. Just because a bunch of scene-ster wanna-bes flocked to it doesn't make it good. And this is only part of an entire song. Of course, we're in the era of mommy problems so a lot of people tend to look for female vocals in music. And that's what makes this track so popular.
