You need to work on your breathing i had the same problem (although i think that was because of a pack-a-day habit) most songs have natural places to stop and breathe and if you listen to the song a couple times you can find them, but you did say at the beginning you hadn't heard the song a lot so that might have been a part of it. Other than that...Great cover!
