@samual81ftm Hey, I still have another year and a half to go before top surgery is an option on the NHS and I want to see what options and results are available to me then. I would love to be able to go to Dr Garamone but money is a real issue. On the other hand you only get one shot so want the best result possible so may wait longer for surgery to get a result I can be really pleased with once I've saved up the money for the states - probably 4-5 years or so.
well said! It's a brave a challenging vid to make but a lot of it rings true with me. I think we don't recognise the changes in ourselves as well as others do. I certainly look in the mirror and still see 'birth name' sometimes, but it gets less as time progresses. Also I think 6 months on T is a big milestone in time, but still such an early one for changes, especially psychological ones. Your mind set and emotional state take a lot longer than the body!! You look/sound great btw! =)
@dylanwikifoo Cheers for this - it's good to know that (as I sort of expected) the metal catches up witht he physical and your self-image continues to improve. You are so right though, 6 months feels like a really big milestone and it crept up on me so quickly! Will have to do some kind of comparrison in a week or so time when i actually hit the mark
really good video mate ... its good to hear things about the emotional and psychological aspect ... you are right alot of video's concentrate on the physical changes ... make an update in another couple of months to see if you feel differently
good vid. i think it is important and am interested in the emotional / psychological aspects of transition. i think that you are right that people kind of know and expect the physical transition but see little on other stuff. thanks. peace.
@free2bAJ Cheers for your comment man. I'm really glad it was of interest / use to you. I found it a tricky one to make because I didn't want it to come across like I regretted anything about transition but still wanted ot point out that physical changes sometimes go a lot faster than the mental peace that you are trying to achieve.
u sound n look like a male m8 n u look happy good stuff!!! wat r ur plans for chest surgery m8??
