(maybe more) I had the same problem with it, threw it back in the box, took it back, got my money, now saving for a PS Vita, and a few games.
Not to mention the 3ds has under 50 games. A weak library.
Now subtract the crappy games, what do you have? Just a handful of "decent" games.

@KisiroKitsune well just imagine a pokemon game where you travel in a mini-world (just like any other pokemon game) but when you get into a battle, it switches to augmented reality. that would be sick.

@HIKAJO Yea, when you are looking at the globe, you can zoom on your own just by moving closer to it with the DS, it treats the virtual objects as if they were real objects using the ? card's distance and position from the camera to determine how close or far away you are.
At first i condemned the idea of a 3d hand held thinking "why not create a home system for this. But between 3D photography and this. Im warming up to the idea of gaming outside the house much more with something like this. Im looking forward to purchasing this with the release of zelda :)

got the 3ds on midnight launch with some great games but damn I love the augmented reality games and the face raiders is great to play with my friends. u do know that arrows don't travel at light speed right? due to distance and speed of the arrow, and with the arrows falling down due to gravity, therefore there is some delay between there ur arrow goes and where you are aiming.

Once the novelty wears off about it the game being on your table in your house - the games themselves look pretty lame - hopefully they'll really make use of this tech and make some really good ones
Anyone hating on your ability (or lack thereof) to hit the targets has zero familiarity with this mini-game or archery in general. The game, like sports champions for the PS move if you've played it, doesn't give you a "straight shot" like a bullet. The arrow hits a zenith in its arch and then falls, so you have to adjust and play around with it. Terrific video and thanks for sharing to the rabid fans who can't possibly wait any longer.

I hear it's magnificent as long as you stay in the "sweet spot" but how large an area does this sweet spot occupy? Is it different from person to person, and does it matter if you have glasses?
@TheParanormal well firstly, the 3d goes back into the screen. not outward. and it's fully adjustable from flat to about 2-3 inches back. i played on one in my local shop and pre-ordered straight away. i wasn't botherd till i played and saw the 3d in action. now i'm obsessed :)
@robbiegta That's not really what he asked. He means side to side. As in how far can your head move till you lose the allusion. But he did ask how it was. But the most important to use all is the sweet spot.
@TheParanormal - I don't know if this answers all your questions, but I tried one at a game shop here in Taiwan. I wear contact lenses and I had no trouble focusing on the 3D. I watched a video that had been downloaded from Japan (it was a 3D video of a band playing the Super Mario Bros. theme). I had no trouble with the "sweet spot" either, as long as I was looking directly at the screen I was fine. But when I watched someone else play from the side, I couldn't see it.
can't help chuckling at your frustration with the floating targets. though I must admit, your voice makes it endearing rather than annoying. just 6 more days until I get my hands on one.

@Xvoid6f Nintendo has been the leader in innovation for gaming, and everyone else has been followers or blatant copycats. Besides their actual games, let's talk about hardware. Nintendo introduced the gamepad with the NES, portable gaming with the Game Boy, shoulder buttons with the SNES, analog controls and rumble feedback with the N64, touch controls and dual screens with the DS, motion controls and avatars (Miis) with the Wii, and now glasses-free 3D with the 3DS. Sony has only copied.

Nintendo doesn't innovate much. The gamepad's almost identical to the Atari 7800's, portable gaming had been around in plenty of ways (some using gameboy style carts), I can recall the Intelivision having shoulder buttons, rumble feedback had been used for ages with the PC, touch controls were EVERYWHERE, avatars were everywhere and glasses free is a Sony invention. They don't innovate much, they just do things right.
@momamario The DS was may not be the first touch screen device, but it was definitely the first portable gaming console with a touch screen. And while Sony may have invented glasses free 3d, Nintendo is again the first to use it on a portable console. Nintendo may not be the MOST innovative, but you have to give them credit for the things they do. And without Nintendo, the gaming market would be nowhere near where it is today. (I'm saying that with the least amount of fanboyism as possible)

Innovation doesn't necessarily mean good. Look at the lack of third party game support that the Wii got because Nintendo was too focused on a crappy gimmick rather than hardware strength. Same with the DS, in fact. Nintendo is just infatuated with gimmicks while leaving hardware superiority for the competition.

And besides pixels/polygons don't always make the game look nice it's the art style mostly. And most Wii games have good graphics.

@Xvoid6f Nintendo has been the leader in innovation for gaming, and everyone else has been followers or blatant copycats. Besides their actual games, let's talk about hardware. Nintendo introduced the gamepad with the NES, portable gaming with the Game Boy, shoulder buttons with the SNES, analog controls and rumble feedback with the N64, touch controls and dual screens with the DS, motion controls and avatars (Miis) with the Wii, and now glasses-free 3D with the 3DS. Sony has only copied.

Nintendo doesn't innovate much. The gamepad's almost identical to the Atari 7800's, portable gaming had been around in plenty of ways (some using gameboy style carts), I can recall the Intelivision having shoulder buttons, rumble feedback had been used for ages with the PC, touch controls were EVERYWHERE, avatars were everywhere and glasses free is a Sony invention. They don't innovate much, they just do things right.

@momamario The DS was may not be the first touch screen device, but it was definitely the first portable gaming console with a touch screen. And while Sony may have invented glasses free 3d, Nintendo is again the first to use it on a portable console. Nintendo may not be the MOST innovative, but you have to give them credit for the things they do. And without Nintendo, the gaming market would be nowhere near where it is today. (I'm saying that with the least amount of fanboyism as possible)

Innovation doesn't necessarily mean good. Look at the lack of third party game support that the Wii got because Nintendo was too focused on a crappy gimmick rather than hardware strength. Same with the DS, in fact. Nintendo is just infatuated with gimmicks while leaving hardware superiority for the competition.

Every console that sets out on being released will be bombed with awful 3rd party titles so to say that is ignorant,biased, and stupid to say in every way shape abd form. Also what do you mean hardware strength? Like a higher Cpu/Gpu? I thought it was about the games and gameplay not graphics. And besides pixels/polygons don't always make the game look nice it's the art style mostly. And most Wii games have good graphics.

@Portuducks That may be true. but nintendo still has yet to prove themselves in the online play department which should be the basic of the basics by now. most of the online games they have dont work well or limit the ability to play with others greatly. you think they would have taken the hint by now and did away with the whole friend code BS.
