Im surprised that the corvette won, I have a 2000 gtp modded pretty good and I beat alot of corvettes. Depends what eachother has done to there car, Mine ran a 12.9 quarter mile with street tires. HP at the wheels-318, tourque at the wheels-392

@860125mwj Yes gtp only comes with 240 horsepower stock and 280 torque stock. Mine was modded good but still had more mods to put into it. I had performance cam, headers, intake, pcm, throttle body, exhaust, suspension, 3.2 pulley, tuned, ultra high performance tires. If I got the aftermarket transmission and intercooler which then I could use a 3.0 pulley im sure it would run a 12 second quarte mile with street tires on. If I had slicks I would be in the high 11 quarter mile.

i know theres no such thing, i made it up. i work in a machine shop and i blueprinted my own badges. i was actually made fun of when i wanted to do a ws6 version of my car but thats the transam, but i have the ws6 hood, so i stuck with gtx/r. if you look on ebay, theres a guy with a gtx/p. (ps- no need to have an attitude, i just wanted a 1 of a kind creation and i got it)

you need to start doing some exhaust work.... get a 3in DP, headers, performance spark plugs, ect.... then get a 3.4in pulley. do that and you'll probably keep up with that corvette... maybe even beat him. i have...
