The sad part about this is That if this administration doesn't straiten things out then the republicans will have a big mess on their hands when Obama leaves office and they will be voted out also, People are growing weary in government making the right decisions for the American people
I must disagree with you on what you said during the introduction Shawn. The republican party has lost it's credibility with conservatives and we will likely field several more of our own 3rd party candidates in 2010.
The republicans show their true colours when they field RINOs and liberals on the ticket.
Unless the republican party actually receives a donor spine from a vertebrate they will not get one penny form me or any real conservative.
All we can do is support the candidates themselves, rather than do what the party says.
It's funny to me how often Ron Paul is held up as some sort of opposition to the Republican party (maybe in some sense he is), but he's a true Conservative and has a lot of support. He should be held in high regard by them.
The party is over only if they neglect what real Conservatives are looking for. If they backed Ron Paul we'd not only win - we'd heal some serious damage.
