For anyone that knows anything about electro, this is not the official electro dance style, this is the kind of dancing that started when the real electro scene died. Everyone left the scene and gave it up to all the people jumping on the bandwagon for sloppy seconds. We created the scene we lived it and then we moved on.

Not whining, just retelling a little piece of music history that I lived coming up in the Southern California electro scene in LA. I was there so I can tell you how it happened. You're right that everyone dances as they wish, but you still have to recognize a musical and cultural lineage that sprang from the indie dance scene and them became the electro dance scene. I'm also free to my opinion that this dance style is shit. I'm a dancer myself so I know what real dancing is.
