If you love animals, that means you love polar bears too. In fact, that means you love all carnivores. So accept the fact that in order for the bears to survive they must feed on walruses and seals. The seals won't go extinct, because they've been preyed on forever.

@binnyficate Thank you! Finally somebody that understands how nature works! When I look at a predator, I root for them to take that kill. Most often then not the hunter comes out empty handed, and doesnt eat. So when the predator takes a kill, Im content because of the fact that not ONLY does it help the population control for the prey (after all, if you've noticed, prey animals do breed in larger amounts then predators), but it keeps the predator population balanced. What people do not get is

@binnyficate that predators single out the sick, elderly, and some of the young. So this keeps the sickness at bay as well as feed the hunters. Nature is Nature, it can be beautiful and deadly. It is a system where the prey knows it is their time to go, or when the predator realises that they wont be fed for a long while. That's just how it goes. It brings an equal balance, but human hunting/constructions/etc tip that balance and may make the prey extinct, there for killing out the predator.

The prey then will not be able to find enough food, sickness will spread, and young will die out of starvation. Liek I stated, Nature brings a balance, and a predator taking down a prey is always magnificent to see.
