Do you need to have an I-Pad or touch attached at all times, or can you use the apple devices to load the effects, and detach from the pedal?

@SloppyFingers You need the iOS device connected to get the effects from whichever app you are using.

so the stomp functionality - does it just effectively turn amplitube on and off or can you use it to say toggle an overdrive pedal on and off?

@martyAD It bypasses the whole iOS device/AmpliTube, not single pedals. This is meant to use AmpliTube as a pedal on your board. You can certainly set up a preset with just overdrive of course and bypass that for effectively what you describe.

@ikmultimedia oh ok can you run amplitube without an amp model now (just effects chain)? I can't imagine wanting to run a digital amp mode into your real tube amp, or is that just me? :)
