Make up your own mind about him as a person.

I think you will gain a lot by doing so. I have seen Andreas Kreiger interviewed and he is a very brave thoughtful, tolerant person but who has terrible physical pain and mental sadness in his life. Your attitude adds to that, sorry to say.
