a little camera shake and slowing down the effect, since its' supposed to be big. The flames & smoke move too fast for a structure that large and far away. You could also cut out a building in Photoshop (take a still) and make it a png file. Erase the original building and put sky there (clone tool), then overlay the bldg png. Then you can animate it collapsing.

Nice try, you're on a good way to getting better, with practise you can make very nice scenes, but, its a long way to reach it, keep learning^^

The explosion(s) looked FAR too unrealistic compared with the quality of the photograph. My advice is to color correct it with the Curves or Levels tool. Other than that, the glow effects and alpha inverted mattes (if you used them, I would think so) look awesome! The building is a bit static on the collapse, though.

ok this was good for a first attemp and well done! But for huge explosions like that they would have to be much slower. Try to put it in actual video it would sell the effect more. But well done! oh and change the blending modes of the explosions to "screen".

By what is the explosion caused? (Bomb?)

I think u used a bit to much Fire. When you want to let something behind a building

explode like on the groundfloor of thr Building, you should use less Fire.

Just a oppinion.

A tipp. Depending on what kind of Explosion u can watch real explosion (If its a Bomb, an exploding truck with gas, or a plane crushing into building > I know its 9/11 i mean but we talk about the explosion and how the look! Pure Science!)

Agreed. I might add some noise/grain and a subtle camera movement or shake. Also the scale of the first explosion is a bit off. It might look a little better if you slow down the clip a bit. Good work though!
