T status quoto has established a labyrinth of procedures that make getting on t ballot a daunting task. In La., at one point, there were 3 ways to get on t ballot, so if t requirements were met for one way they could say that we needed to meet t other standard. Also, one method was to get a certain % of registered voters-only 2or 10% or so so one would think it would not be that bad- registered as libertarians. Except t registrar of voters regitered all non-republocrats only as independents.
Wow, having trouble getting on the ballot in Oklahoma, my own home state, it doesn't really surprise me that a stubborn state such as my own would be that ignorant to not include a 3rd party candidate.
Not sure why you're comment was marked as spam, but oh well. I consider myself a libertarian, but also a Christian. But I also consider myself a strict constitutionalist. Nowhere does the Constitution actually say "seperation of church and state." All it says is "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion." Unless schools are Congress, I think government employees should be able to do whatever they want within the limits of local and federal law.
My problem is the Constitution Party's platform: The Constitution Party gratefully acknowledges the blessing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Creator, Preserver and Ruler of the Universe and of these United States. I dont understand how you can limit the federal government to its Constitutional boundaries when religion itself limits our way of life. I dont like the fact that they feel the need to stress God and Christianity in their platform. Im just more comfortable voting Libertarian.
why doesnt cavuto ask questions that americans want to know? they dont want to talk about issues because that would mean debate and reason. fuck fox news. or fox shit as it should be called.
Well finally the Americans have a good candidate. John McCain was just not fit for the job. Not because he's old. But because he was not a good candidate. Obama was not too good either. Do get me wrong, he is very intelligent. But he is inexperienced, and he depends too much on that stupid slogan he carries around. Bob Barr is a person really sure of himself. He is not soft on the issues that the other candidates are soft on.
If I was a American, I would definately vote for this guy.
i like Bob Barr and i agree with him on everything i've heard him say. our government is no longer how our founding fathers wanted it to be. i think that bob barr intends to bring us back to the constitution
Bob Barr is the only candidate still running that I can vote for. As for flip flopping... "Consistency is the hobgoblin of meager minds." Meaning only small minded people never re-evaluate their positions.
Say YES to the Constitution, Say YES to the individual's right to decide how to spend his/her money Say YES to protecting our borders from the invasion along the southern border, Say YES to defending our OWN country with our OWN dollars and our OWN troops, Say YES to drilling our OWN oil, Say YES to common sense ideals in Washington....
Will Ron Paul ever publicly endorse Bob Barr or the Constitution guy? I really hope he sides with Bob Barr formerly because that minister Constitution guy must read the Bible daily and get all his wisdom from it.
well bob barr is a politician who doesn't really believe what he's saying, that's why he flip flops. He spent much of his adult life actively working to restrict people's freedoms. Not just being neutral or having no opinion. ACTIVELY trying to TAKE AWAY liberty.
Barr/Root is the only choice for Americans who want to see TRUE change in our gov't. I urge YOUNG VOTERS to research and make their OWN choice-dont just cast your parents vote again without knowing the facts! Liberty is at stake but you can help to take back your country and re-instate Democracy. Obama is charming & handsome, but what has he ever DONE?! He vows "change!" but doesnt veer from typical Dem positions. We need REAL change, by shaking the status quo.Research your vote!
Forget the false dilemma of republican vs. democrat. Throw off that corrupt neofascist oligarchy. This is the year that we should pull the lever for the libertarian candidate. Have some dignity and courage, people. Go libertarian!
After having weighed what all the presidential candidates have to say this election season I have come to the conclusion that Bob Barr and the Libretarian party are the only logical choice. They are what this country need to survive.
Anybody is better then McCain and Obama. Obama has a great message, buit he is a democrat and there is already to much government for us to support. Less government=less burden.
I will be campaigning for both Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin because I like both of them 100 times more than McCain and Obama. But in November my vote will go to Baldwin.
I am not sure about him. We needed someone who stood for almost exactly what Paul does for this to be something big this cycle. Baldwin is good also. Maybe Paul will end up endorsing one or the other.
That was a decent interview for somone who is pulling only 2-6% in polls man. There is no reason to throw around terms like neocon onto everyone who doesn't get down and suck him off during the interview. Also the conspiracy theories are really starting to grate on my nerves and will keep Barr at 2-6% if you people don't keep bringing that irrational bullshit up. For a movement that was so influenced by Ayn Rand it is an absolute wonder that most libertarians lack any sort of grasp of reality.
Cavuto interupts him EVERY TIME he's speaking! Expected, I guess, considering Cavuto's nothing more than neocon pawn. He hates Barr just like they hate Ron Paul.
It is our current foreign policy (policies) which make us the target for the world. They hate us now when they used to love us. Do you have any idea why? Please, do tell.
Thank you. Can you give me more reassurance on security. Is he going to disable our nukes? How is he going to crack down on the Islamic threat that is now setting up here in the USA?
You still think it's the "Islamics"? Al Queda exists/remains a product only of the CIA. Sure, you think I'm a crack pot for saying so but I was in your shoes once; it's about time you woke up too. I mean no disrespect; it's time for you so start to get prepared. 9-11 was a False Flag/PsyOp & though you are late to the party (I was too) there may still be time. Islamics WILL be the enemy if we continue the genocide of brown people far away. They DO matter, you have been blinded and fooled.
I'm sorry I can't support him if this is how most of you feel. I do believe that actions and non actions of goverments and people INFLUENCED 9-11 BUT THAT IS TOO FAR. How come people say Bush is an idiot that can tie his shoe yet can pull 9-11 off ???
i supported ron paul to the very end even when he was not on the ballot here in RI i would never vote for this asshole

Liberals and Conservatives should agree on more individual freedom.
Republicans and Democrats are all about passing laws to force conformity.
