  • our local vet won't do rabbit spays due to risk of broken back when waking up

  • what does this rabbit have exatcly???

  • This is the same rabbit as seen in the video "Radiography" and "Needle Cytology". His foot was broken and swollen. The vet needed to get some fluid from the broken area to check for an infection by sticking a needle into the rabbit's hock. Compassion dictates, that it's best for everyone if the rabbit is anesthetized for this procedure. Fortunately, the test came back negative.

  • Will he be okay?

  • Yes, he's fine. Very healthy and happy, snoozing in my living room. He will always have limited use of his broken foot, but he's not in any pain, and it doesn't stop him from jumping up on the fireplace hearth and begging for nose rubs. :)

  • I think these videos are top quality, and the information is up to date, and better than any I have seen so far: many thanks to you, the vet, and of course, the buns, for making these available for the education of owners, and general pubic. EXcellent!

  • good to see the induction and recovery process, thanks

  • Thank you. All too often medical personnel forget that we non-medical people don't know what they're doing and why they're doing it. I hope to lessen some of our fears by shedding some light on these procedures.
