There's actually nothing at all wrong with the time; Phil plays a synchopated fill there, leading to it sounding a little odd, but it's in perfect time. Tap your foot through it, the "1" comes in right on time in the next measure.

What a pile of crap... Bearing the name of Genesis is an insult to their earlier Gabriel work.

Phil Collins is a fantastic vocalist; probably the best drummer rock'n'roll has seen; and his solo work is commendable. But here, he is turning Genesis into his own session musicians - these guys were capable for so much more, yet they settle for this.

Yeah, it really made an impression on me as a kid how Genesis looked like regular people. Every other band on MTV had big hair and leather pants, but Genesis looked refreshingly normal yet they made this really excellent music.
