Back in 20s and 30s studios tried to get screen teams to click and be successful with the public. An example would be William Powell and Myrna Loy in the "Thin Man" series. Paramount tried with Cooper and Ray but it didn't work. Coop never needed help did he? He's been gone nearly half a century and there's still no one quite like him. I still miss him.

I fell in love with Gary Cooper when I was about 4 yrs old,when he came onto the screen in the film Morocco! on a tiny TV back in 1952!He is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

This is amazing. If we can't watch the movie, this has to be the next best thing. It is so agonizingly tantalizing that so many stills exist from "lost" movies and in many cases, the records from their musical numbers. It's as if every form of media but celluloid is immune to the destruction of time.
