  • haha phil laak is just to funny :D

  • Robl is a gentleman.

  • Comment removed

  • timoshenko is not suprised because its quads vs quads, hes just suprised to see quads vs quads considering the LINES they both took....thats the weirdest part of this hand....the idiots including mike sexton and laak dont understand high level poker so of course to them it seems stupid to raise the nuts. however u have to make plays like this against good people, if you want to get value with ur big hands and get folds with your bluffs

  • @ktx49 You're a fucking idiot shitbag. Go blow your brains out cocksucker.

  • They hired the poker stars dealer!

  • lewis raised what a bad player

  • I had call river only with quads online. I had 22, flop was 552, turn 2 (quads for me), river 5. it was obvious that opponent had 5, but couldn't fold, so just called :)

  • LOL TIMOSHENKO'S FACE

  • this is some good HQ format

  • poker gods must be really pissed with Andrew Robl

  • LEWIS RAISES: 8,000

COMMENTATORS: HE'S (ROBL) DEFINITELY GOING TO RAISE HERE.

    ROBL: JUST CALLS 8,000.

    FLOP COMES.. . . . .

    ROBL: BETS 18,000

COMMENTATORS: HE'S (LEWIS) JUST GONNA CALL.

(PHIL LAAK): HE'S (LEWIS) NEVER GONNA RAISE, NEVER GONNA RAISE.

    LEWIS: RAISES TO 42,000.

    LMAO!

  • You call it HQ. This isn't even a correct format!

  • I wish Phil Laak would get excited or something. He's so monotone.

  • Epic hand, but he missed the best opportunity of his life for an epic slowroll LOL

  • thumbs up for timoschenko's face when he saw the river and at the end :O

  • how the fuck has this never happened to me? I've played 5 million hands. I've lost a striaghtflush to a higher striaghtflush with 67 agains 10j on 589Q all of hearts. but that's it

  • epic epic reaction by the guy in the black

  • imagine this would happen on fullti.. oh wait..

  • quad 9s easy check fold!!!

  • Ouch

  • re KEMAO

  • Thats amazing. I would quit poker if I lost with quads

  • sick!!

  • easy check fold on the river.

  • @lawnmowerman7 thats a sarcastic rip on the foolish youtube pros right lol

  • @lawnmowerman7 incredibly easy!

  • Lewis played that hand worse than anybody I've ever seen. The only way he'd play that hand is if he put Robl on 99, other than that why would he scare him out of the hand? Idiot didn't deserve to win.

  • @DougieBarclay I agree to a point. He may of been aggressive at the start to make it look like a bluff (usually you wouldn't be aggressive with a strong hand like flopping quads).

  • Phil Laak "10 years of cards and I've never seen anything like this". Now Imagine the gigantic amounts of hands he has played and the amount of hands he has seen. Now think how many times you see quads vs quads online... just think.

Personally, I've lost with quad 6s against quad 9s.

    The probability is 44/C(48,5)=44/1712304 = 1/38916 or exactly 38915 to 1.

  • @Drakunia dude it's like 3891500 to 1...

  • @dhizzylawl

You can't do the (chances of quads)^2. You have to take into consideration that it's Texas Holdem. Make your research and you'll see I'm right.

  • @Drakunia I lost quad 5 against quads 10 :( in poker stars heheeh

  • By the way, he got the TTTT in runner runners, turn and river.

  • @Drakunia maybe cause you play alot more online than you play live....

  • @Drakunia 10 years of cards for laak can be summed up in probably 2 years of online poker for a pro online player. Thats the difference. Online players simply see so many more hands, and play so many more tables at the one time.

  • @R088O more like 3 months

  • @Drakunia Well bad beat jackpots get over 700,000 because no quad over quads or str8 fl over quads ever hits across 60 tbls 24 hrs a day...I hit quad 4s vs quad Js and thought I won on one such tbl when it was up to 500,000 and had no idea at the time it had to be 6s or better, damn did that shit put me on tilt. Then amazingly half an hour later I had a 2 outer str8 fl draw vs quads all in on turn to hit but sadly for me that obv missed...The odds of a bbjp being won are 1:1.2M btw...

  • @Drakunia

laak is playing online too. and i have never seen quads vs quads online. i have seen royal flush vs quads 1 time

  • @Drakunia

i lost with 4 kings, and i felt, well, at least i lost with quad kings and not with quad deuces :)

  • @MCFoultier

    Hehehehhe... :)

  • @Drakunia i play online poker 2 and who cares if hands are set up sometimes to create action...ive taken and given sick beats its poker...ik it hapens alot online but if ur good u generally dnt care about it and just let it be cus yea u can have really sick beats happpen to u but ur gona give around the same amount

  • @Drakunia ty einstein

  • @dabe95

    yw Watson.

  • @Drakunia Areyou sure the maths is right. Ive played over 4 million hands and had 11 royal flushes. Never ever had quads over quads or quads over FH.

  • @NoWayFolding

Quads against straight flush is 1/2.7 BILLIONS.

The odds of HAVING a Royal flush (holding both pocket cards) is 1 / 878M, your general chance of having a Royal Flush (this includes the board so you might also have no pocket cards of it) is 1 / 649,740. So, your 4M/649,740 = 6.16 you should have had an average of 6 Royals flushes in your career so you have been lucky. The 1/38916 is the odds of LOSING WHILE HOLDING quads, not the odds of being dealt quads and losing. Cheers.

  • @Drakunia where do get the calculation of 1/2.7 billion for quads against straight flush? that figure is wrong. its much lower than that. its not even in the billion.

  • @golfmaniac007

Remember, it is the case of AA vs (2/5 of SF), if you are looking for the odds of having AAAA AND a RF in the same hand are: 1 in 978.8 Million.

  • @Drakunia Sorry meant quads against a straight flush (not FH lol)

  • @Drakunia well, i had quads vs quads 3 times in my online career. once loosing on omaha pl and nlhe, and once mine AAAA won against 9999

  • @Drakunia GEEK xD

  • @sNeaAT

    I failed my math class.

  • unbelievable hand

  • Phil Laak is hilarious

  • this is disgusting, it really shows that you can have a killer hand in poker play it exactly right and still lose, i mean who in their right mind would ever fold quad nines?

  • sick

  • i would kill myself

  • what tournament is this from?

  • WOW!

  • O my gosh....

  • so sick

  • live poker is rigged! :D

  • @Slaaayer92 it is not rigged, it happened!
