I couldn't tell what was written on the truck, but (a) Cyrillic alphabet used Greek characters (2 Greek priests, Cyril and Methodios went to Slabic countries to convert them into Orthodox Christians and "built" them an alphabet), so you may be confusing these two, or either it's a truck from a slavic country passing through Athens

@futile2006 (1) the roads aren't wet, but worn off.. they are extremely slippery for sure, but saying they were wet was your first error (I can justify you because you probably haven't driven here in Greece to have personal experience)

(2) really slippery roads need extra attention and A-level movements, so it's actually more impressive handling in such kinds of roads.. that's why when e.g. an F1 driver is good on rain it's something to be highlighted

Ive been riding long enough and well enough to know that riding in the wet does require more attention yes, but doing what this guy is doing on slippery roads is FAR easier than doing the same thing on dry roads.....his level of dumb ass is very high however.

I agree with you.. even I prefer those roads to play with the car (I'm not riding at all, even though I'd like too - I'm scared on the other hand - you see how people drive here) because you need less power, less sudden movements and less speed to have fun with the car, so you can say it's a bit safer.. I'm totally with you on that. accurate braking though or line changing should be quite tricky

@lilwolfe26 it's no wet.. it's actually really sunny and probably with quite temperature too.. here in greece the roads get really slippery after a couple of hours under the sun and with temperatures higher than 25'C.. they become "glassy" , and you can even predict how slippery each situation is by the way it reflects the sun on the asphalt (a little unofficial rule based on personal experience)..
